Pick up is almost still the same, but the high end got difference. The acceleration is better for high speeds too. Haven't tried top cos dun want to try it locally. Basically the dyno made my whole bike more stable and smooth in the acceleration (not in the initial pick up of course). Surprisingly, the mileage (fuel consumption) did not change at all, in fact, got a bit better? Maybe because it was the aftermarket exhaust.Originally posted by milkshake:so hw u feel abt ur pick up, fuel comsumption? and top end?
got improvenment from ur dyano jet?
hw much u do?
A version s pickup is so heavy. First gear had to wack above 7k then can chase a vtec. Is this wat you mean by initial power for VERSION S WINS VTEC? Some more version s the weight so heavy. Hmmm.....Originally posted by PuRe-EviL:Version S power bike! Till now still feel that the initial power for Version S wins VTEC. Anyway, are there many S4 riders here?
Top end, if your bike is not powercut removed, upon hitting 12.5k on rpm. Its the powercut time man! Dyno basically have to see how you set it, for performance or for petrol consumption. The dyno kit for Version S is a good thing if you dun want to always go and resynchronise your carbs too often.Originally posted by PuRe-EviL:Pick up is almost still the same, but the high end got difference. S4 max torque is at 10.5, so is removing the power cut going to help much? I wouldn't know. But I have seen a stock bike with an experienced rider winning one who has his power cut removed. And that was what he told me. Removing the power cut is useless for acceleration, only useful for top speed.Originally posted by Ah^Huat:Top end, if your bike is not powercut removed, upon hitting 12.5k on rpm. quite true, but haven try wif a vtec till nowOriginally posted by Ah^Huat:A version s pickup is so heavy. First gear had to wack above 7k then can chase a vtec. Is this wat you mean by initial power for VERSION S WINS VTEC? Some more version s the weight so heavy. Hmmm.....
Anyway, guys, getting a Version S is good for the wallet. Wun really be good in performance when compared with a vtec. Version S biggest flaw is that its low rev performance is terrible. I tell you, it sucks man... have to drag gear one. If not can't really get the ponies out of it. Since you guys are riding one already, make the best out of it... I regretted getting a Version S last time.
Go for S4 outings. Or try with your friends.Originally posted by milkshake:quite true, but haven try wif a vtec till now
I am referring to top speed. Without removing the cut, its real hard to hit above 190Originally posted by PuRe-EviL:S4 max torque is at 10.5, so is removing the power cut going to help much? I mean the initial pickup from 'still' position, tried with a fren who rode a Version S, and his bike basically pulled away from mine for the 0 - 60km/h, only after that then I won him.Originally posted by Ah^Huat:A version s pickup is so heavy. but Ver.S heavier than urs so make over it
You go try lifting a VTEC and compare. Version S is almost as heavy as a R6 for your info.Originally posted by PuRe-EviL:Ver S. really heavier meh? By how much?

I feel R6 is lighter than my bike leh. Heck, I even think R1 is lighter than my bike.Originally posted by Ah^Huat:You go try lifting a VTEC and compare. Version S is almost as heavy as a R6 for your info.
