Try looi's(very reputable and trustable) for TA200. Dunnoe the price now, but put 100% sure on the way they do business. Maybe can try bike production too....$4750 OTR without IU i think.

IU is not a definately NEED or complusory thing for u to ride on the road. U can still ride a bike without it legally. But for insurance, road tax, etc. kind of things, U MUST have it to be legal on the road.Originally posted by scorpione_phantom:Why qoute OTR when it's without the IU??? Both are bike shops.Originally posted by mark1022:can tell me where is this 'looi' shop that you mention??? thanks.

Installment at 5% per year i think. Not very sure. u call and ask better. Cash is confirmed more expensive(funny right?). This is because they bring the price until very low liao and they need to earn back from the interest rate.Originally posted by mark1022:the price you talking about pay by installment or cash?

i think u can keep ur comment to urself bradder...Originally posted by nismoS132:tip no.1
dun buy a phantom.
This applies to few shops. U can go ask if u don't believe, For first hand bike of course. They earn from interest to cover from their LOW selling price.Originally posted by nismoS132:cash more expensive than instalment?
where got such nonsense. u calculate wrongly sibo.
Plz, every bike has it's own purpose. Phantom is not use to race, and i feel there's nothing wrong riding it. And YES, i am a phantom rider. And i really enjoy CUISING on my bike at 80-90km/hr when i am not in rush.Originally posted by nismoS132:tip no.1
dun buy a phantom.
so you're saying if a bike bought wif cash costs 5k, it'll cost 4.5k if you buy it via instalments?Originally posted by Enjoy^83:This applies to few shops. U can go ask if u don't believe, For first hand bike of course. They earn from interest to cover from their LOW selling price.
the purpose of a forum is discussion.Originally posted by De|usi0n:i think u can keep ur comment to urself bradder...

no offences.
pls advise.. hope to close deal asap.Originally posted by j007:well i have been doing some bike shopping over the weekend, checked with Boon Siew Phantom 200 is abt 6200 OTR with a 2 helemt box,IU unit, 1/2 yr road tax,1 yr insurance for a 27yr old biker...
However there's another parallel import bike tt goes for 4.2k with a helmet and plastic cover for the bike and the nec stuff for OTR.
Why such a big difference between a parallel and a Boon Siew Bike??
Are all Honda bikes under Boon Siew??
4.2K ??? So cheap? sure or not.....Boon siew is always more expensive than normal bike shops. Dunnoe y also.Originally posted by j007:well i have been doing some bike shopping over the weekend, checked with Boon Siew Phantom 200 is abt 6200 OTR with a 2 helemt box,IU unit, 1/2 yr road tax,1 yr insurance for a 27yr old biker...

Bike production. I found it curious also at the moment i knew it. Take for example: They sell phantom200 at $4750 OTR, quote in newspaper. This is the price of Nov-Dec 2002. Then when u go down and order, u say u wanna pay full cash, they like dun wanna sell to u liao(i shocked). Cause i thought i give them full cash, they will be more happy(cash is king).Originally posted by nismoS132:so you're saying if a bike bought wif cash costs 5k, it'll cost 4.5k if you buy it via instalments?
how to earn money like that?
with interest rates that low nowadays, unless they get the fella to drag the interest up to 5 years, even then they don't earn much.
which bike shop has this?
i go check it out.
