  Read the entire postings man! I didnt knw he was a newbie initially! After i found out then i advised him to take it slow. BTW if u r so full of spite of others' bikes what do u ride tts so fantastic?

  different bikes are made for different purposes.
  he wants to corner, get a bike made for cornering.
  
  a phantom is for commuting. it has shi[/i]tty handling, shi[/i]tty brakes, shi[/i]tty tyres, shi[/i]tty weight-power distribution. he's just asking to die.

  I have seen plenty of sports bike riders who crashed their bikes and sometimes even to the extent losing their lives.
  Which do u blame wen tt happens? The rider? The Bike? The External Factors?
  Wat im trying to say is tt if the rider has no skill or experience, he cnt ride anything well no matter if it's a sports bike or not.

  I'm trying to put across tt a riders skill is important and u r putting across tt the bike is important.

  Everyone starts from scratch..... mick doohan started riding in motocross in his ealier days.
  There's nothing wrong in asking. check out the replys, there are people who advise him how to do it and people who advise him not to, then there's u who puts down his bike..... y did u have to go do tt? Would u njoy it if u were asking about trail riding and some1 tells u to FO cause yr sports bike cant hack it?

  our dear friend here is not really trying to put the rider or the bike down
  
  its just that, he himself used to own a phantom, and he knows that a phantom is not made for corner, n its dangerous to try stunts on a vehicle not made for it to be, the geometry is OF leisure/crusing configuration..
  
  maybe hes not using the correct tone but he meant it in a gd way

  3. i didn't put down his bike. i told him to get a bike suitable for wat he wants to do.

  haiya guys...y quarrel over it... Beckham can play basketball to an extent i think....cause he got hand and he know how to aga-aga. But of course not as gd compare to pro lah. all bike can corner lah. rx-z also can corner...vespa also can corner...its how the rider handle his bike...who say corner must be at high speed, correct...
  
  thanks skeujin, i manage to bua my kata today...actually phantom is not very dangerous to do cornering...its not a stunt or wat mah...just a corner. it is low and have a gd central of gravity...heavy and quite stable..tat's y its insurance not as expensive as sport bike mah...
  
  but i rather turn off when pple riding sportbike break very hard at a corner and turn slowly....as if buy just for shop oni....not sporty at all...
  
  i buy phantom cause i dont haf $$ for sport bike like u lucky fellow..but apart the setback of its speed, cornering is not a problem...of course wheelie cannot lah..

  if u dun corner at high speed, it's not called cornering, it's called taking a bend.
  
  a phantom doesn't cost much more than an sp.

  Different ppl can take corner at differnt speed mah. Just go with the speed u can take.

  as usual, if you wanna die young, your choice. that is not a good bike for cornering.
  
  phantom bua ka tar is nothing to be happy about. you can even bua your katar during a u turn.
