If u were to choose between a 150 and a 200 bike. Which would u choose and why?

i ride a ta150. before i start, i declare first i not trying to start flame war btn ta150 and ta200. i always say, looks is subjective performance is fact. by that i mean that some comparisons is subject to a person's taste so u cant argue if a person feels a certain way. performance is performance, if its like dat then u cant say otherwise. in short, i wanna do comparison, not argument. i not taking side of ta150 just coz i riding it. i not taking sides at all.

wat thing? the only diff is the tank design and a small diff in the side cover. and maybe can say the first edition ta150 has no pillion lean rest, but that one can add. and tank design, although i agree latest designs better than the old ones, not happy can make your own depending on budget. i did a low budget redesign by taking off the original phantom sticker, cut out my own design and paste. cost me less than $20 to do. wat thing 'killing'?[quote]* But i think phantom 150 can run faster than phantom 200...can

donno so much about phantom 150 thou...just that when i see 150 and 200, i feel that 150 more apek looking. my thought oni. tat's y i say 200 more killing..and when i say that, i dont compare with a bike that is modified internally or externally. just the fractory default, hope u got wat i mean.

but i think 200 can contain more petrol than 150 izzit?

try see the younger phantom owners, take care of looks so meticulous, always shiny, subtle add-ons, box oso the half-color wif brake light that kind, some saddle bags, etc. and some no box at all.
but like i said i agree the latest 200 tank designs much nicer than the old 150. -

2T is the oil need for ur bike, i think used for lubricating gears and such..not very sure...i using 4T one..

ya loh...so soli...big mistake there...197-150 = 47 cc ; 179 - 150 = 27 cc.....Phantom 200 slightly more powerful than Phantom 150 loh.

of coz if u wanna say 250cc sure beat 150cc bike then nothing to say.

i oni know my bike very clean externally...donno how to clean internally -
Just for info, bigger cc doesn't mean more powerful.
In fact TA150 runs on the same engine as NSR150SP and packs in more horsepower than TA200.
but 2-stroke engines r inefficient...

ta150 has more hp? i tot ta200's 4 stroke gives it more hp? ta150 2 stroke gives it more speed but less power due to inefficient combustion, i wrong? then how come the ta200 look like got more power than my ta150? -
TA150 gives a horsepower of 37PS @ 9750rpm
TA200 gives a horsepower of 17PS @ 8000rpm
actually if u feel TA200 is more powerful, esp at traffic lights where they brr..brr.. brr..ooom off with ease, u r rite... 4strokes give better torque at low end, that is where our TA150 lose out...
i personally have rode both phantoms b4
TA200 got the power at the low end to mid range, but no power at the high end
but when the TA150 reaches beyond the mid range until the high end, u can say byebye to the TA200
