I've had problems with my bike but mostly because I buang or drop the bike or something but unlike l3stat my bike not say buang already sure spoil. At most maybe the signal light drop or something. Once I buang head on with a traffic light post, nothing spoil only headlight 'picha' a bit.
Engine wise so far no problem except one time magnetic coil spoil. But u all know lah, magnetic coil spoil can happen to any bike any where any time , nothing we can do to prevent also.
For spare part I go back to the dealer (Ducati workshop), so far no problem finding spare parts for me. The mechanics were very nice and when I say I very poor liaothey tried to find second hand magnetic coil for me which was half the price of a first hand one.
I agree that the speed depends on tuning and restrictions. I tuned my bike before so its faster than planets that are fresh outta the shop.

Ermmm... what kind of restriction does the planet have? Since you say it is derestricted, there are no plates at the planet expansion chamber. The header I'm not so sure. And why is the planet exhaust system inferior to mito's? I tot the whole system is the same except the header, even the diameter of the header I feel is the same, only the planet exhaust has a chrome cover. Do you seriously believe that there are exhaust in this werid shape? I think that the exhaust is still round inside. the jetting i did t change anything except change to the bigger hole increasing air intake. Oh yes, there's always talks about the seat and doubts about its comfortability. I've been a pillion on planet for very long before I inherited the bike. And now as a rider and an ex-pillion, I think the seat is much more comfortable than the japanese 2b bikes. And planet is one of the few bikes with the pillion seat bigger than the rider seat hahaha, lucky pillions.

the planet does have 2 stages of restriction. one spacer in the header to restrict airflow. and 3 staggered plates in the expansion chamber. if you've only removed the one in the header, still restricted. just ask around. where do you service your bike? i advise you to get a plug chop done. your so-called "jettings" only involves adjusting the idling setup. continue to run high revs with your what-i-think-is-lean (following the derestriction) jettings, your engine will seize. good luck recovering your line at 160km/h. well but if you were running on super-rich boggy jettings before the derestriction, perhaps things would be alright.
ah as for the mito's pipe, take a look at a mito with its side fairings off. think about the shape of the EXPANSION CHAMBER. compare the 2 bikes. and please i'm not talking about the stupid decorative muffler.[/b]
