anyone riding or used to ride aprilia?
me new rider, now riding RS 125 Replica..
just wanna find out how much u guys spend on the maintains...
and also with a full tank, how many "K" can u travel???
and how often u change the spark plugs???
i don't even know where the hell is my spark plug? or how many of them... hai~
arrow pipe got LTA approved one? how much??
IU unit i fix it at the side cos if fix in the middle, will block the speedo meter... can or not?

spark plug always remember to put one extra new one under ur sit,learn to change if u dunno
the spark plug for 125 is only one,take up ur fuel tank n u will see it connect to the tube of the tank.
arrow pipe...dun think so unless maybe u take the pipe from 250.
IU unit i fix at the side.i dunno will block or not if fixed center.

"called lta recently. actually 3 days ago. this was wat i found out.
mah motors did send the newer aprilias with the smaller silencer for approval at lta. however, mr gunalan, the man ic for vehicles dept, told me personally that they have not passed the bike yet. it is still undergoing emissions and noise testings.
y2k models are not allowed to fix the smaller silencer in future if the newer aprilias with the small stock silencers are passed. y2ks need a written approval from aprilia italy that states the specifications of the rs silencer and also that officially states that y2ks are fully compatible with the smaller rs exhaust and silencer system. the smae goes for other bikes that want to put on aftermarket exhaust system.
aftermarket systems need official documentation from this particular authority that lta recognizes before u can put on the system. u will then need to bring ur bike to lta for inspection and ur bike will most probably be approved after filling in most of the requirements.
do u noe dat u can fix yoshimuras on ur 4 strokes? however they need to be the certified road legal ones. u can check with lta wat are the specific models dat can be used on singapore roads.

my aprilia also FP plate... but the funny thing is that i top up fuel whenever i see the orange light at the fuel indication...
the light only blink once and i go top up liao..
the distance is around 100 + km....
cost of top up around $7 +/- shell 98
that time i ran 70+ km, i paid around $3.50 SPC
so how? is my bike eating too much petrol??? how to make it save more petrol and run 280 km like urs?

it has no reserver petrol...
i remmber i can pump ard $18 of Vpower ... full tank...
but now i always pump $10 inbetween lo...
so like i travel 40km, use up about $2 of mobil 8000...
very save petrol, don tua.... throttle to 5k then switch gear liao.. -

when it blinks still got around 1/4, i usually go by mileage, i top up every 200km, tats abt 11 dollars of shell 98, the best way to gauge ur comsumption is to divide the total mileage by the total litres of petrol
for example from full tank i travel 200km, and i pump 10 litres, it will give me 20km/litre, mine is abt there...
dun listen to bikeshops, many of them like to bull shit
last time my friend buy bike from a shop, the owner is his dad, after receiving the insurance cert, he ask y is his name not inside as sub rider, u know wad the bikeshop say? he say no need one, jus cover one person enuff, this is the greatest bull i ever heard, lucky my friend go ask ard, ar bo if follow bikeshop say his lic duno kantong how long ago liao
FP plate shld be replica which has no reserve, i change mine to y2k fuel tap then i get the reserve function -

np,spark plug mostly for rs is 2 or 3 months then gone liao,if urs is second hand i recommand u change ur magnet coil n vault knife,
arrow pipe...if u really want to change remember to pick the pipe with the arrow pipe logo on the pipe,thats very gd,plus maybe u need to add sliencer.
max speed i try with my rs in 2000 is 220k/h -
