Esso and Mobil prices up!

PUMP prices at Esso and Mobil stations were raised by between 2.2 cents and 7.1 cents per litre midnight yesterday.
Prices for the Synergy 2000, 5000 and 8000 range of petrol fuels were raised by 2.2, 3.2, 4.2 cents respectively, to $1.180, $1.217 and $1.286 per litre.
The price of Synergy Diesel rose by 7.1 cents to $0.666 per litre.
ExxonMobil said the price hike was in response to increases in the wholesale prices of internationally-traded gasoline and diesel products. It said the hike also reflected the rise in the Goods and Services Tax from 3 to 4 per cent.
To stay competitive, the company said it would keep, for the time being, the 8 per cent discount on pump prices at the Mobil Bukit Timah and Esso Dunearn stations.
From today, it will extend the discount to the Mobil Newton Station.

ccb today was travelling on the road and no petrol so was looking for a shell but dun have... so i found a mobil... i pump to the brim and normally i pump till the price is nice and round so i dun get too much coins back... today pump $14 go counter the lady say $14.60... immediatly i flare up infront of the other customers saying how f**k up mobil is and that shell dun do this kinda things... the meter show $14 then charge $14 lar ccb over charge... really must boycott this f**king mobll!!!!!

tats damn irritating then....cos i oso always pump till swee swee whole dollar 1....preferably to 2 cents...cos 3 sents hv to pay liao wat....

i pump until $10, then when i go pay money, i only have to pay $9.xx!!! becoz they got discount!! wah piang i count zhun zhun liao, they should've included the discount in the pump meter
