so happy, finally pass my TP
just got a 2b bike....
will need lots of advice from all of u on the maintainences and the roads of S'pore...

got outing remember to ask me along..but please guide me along also... i am very weak with my way around....

im also a new rider (3 months only)
anyway
wondering what bike did u get?
some tips for you..
1) never tail gate (dont stay too near to a vehicle...the "2-second rule that we learn in RTT" altho it will slow u down as ppl over take you.. but well its your life here do try ur best to observe this rule..
2) on rainy days, (riding in the rain is NOT dangerious (as what manny ppl say) the only problem is stoping.. Take note.. Do not speed tooo much when ur near a traffic light... try to slow down cos when the light change to red.. u chia lat already!! want to beat it (-12 points if kena caught!!!) if you jamm brakes confirm! tyres skid... if you sway sure buang... (i have this close buang skid experience twice already.. so beware)
3) on expressway (when changing lane try to check twice before changing.... many times... when i change lane.. (just check side mirror, only) never notice a bike beside me...)....lucky never bang to the biker..
4) beware of taxis!
5) Don't let your ego get the better of you... ppl suan u, relax lah, better safe,
6) and lastly remember this alwasy ....better late then never..

thanks for all ur replies and advises....
i am current riding aprilia rs125... replica version... black color... lives yishun area.....
loves to go to upper seletar on weekend nights...
there got many sports cars and bikes hanging around there plus also vans with many powerful speakers blasting loud music....
the place is also very cooling with nice salty sea breeze... and lots of young people hanging out....
so far i only tried SLE, CTE.... been to orchard, city hall, raffles... all by myself....
i also kanna lane cut by a taxi before.... without even giving any signals.... scared me......
so thanks for ur advise not to tailgate and ride safetly..
raining just slow down lor.... reply me soon...

i also found out that the petrol runs out pretty fast... i guess cos it's two strokes....... but luckly... my school very near my home.... so only weekends i go to far away places..... save money.... hee...

Hello............new rider here also. Riding TA150 for about 1 month only. Still trying to gain more experience and mark out dangerous things and vehicle, etc. taxi, bus, long or huge vehicle, metal plate that is commonly seen when there is road construction(damn bloody slippery, like no grip like that), wet roads, any cement surface like multi storey carpark (buang b4, lucky that time riding lao K) and many many more.....
Qreatly agree to slow down on rainy days, as the roads are very wet. When i first rode my bike on a rainy day, i depress my brakes like normal days, and suddenly found out that my bike's brakes like kana cut off like that, totally like no reaction. Quite a scary thing to think of that time, lucky i brake early, if not i think jialat liao.....
Hope to know more bikers as I am the only one riding among my friends. Cannot know more about bikes, except here.

juz dun speed as u like ...there is always the urge to speed ...playit while safe ....AND REMEMBER TAXIS ...THERE R BASXXTARD...RAIN DUN PLAY CONERING ...that all enjoy the road the traffic and ur aprilia.
