  to all 400cc bikers.
  
  just curious abt the petrol consumption of your bike.
  
  pls state :
  
  Model
  Yr
  Liter/100km
  
  ..............................
  my GSXR400 like eating petrol ! 7.5 liter/100km
  
  my previous NSR125 only 4 liter/100km
  
  how come got so much difference!

  Model : GSX 400 Impulse (Naked Bike, not GSXR series)
  Year : 1996
  Consumption : Ok lah, 300km use around 12 litres, average 1 litre, travel 25km.

  2 stokers consume alot of petrol also mahz..
  
  by the way.. 400cc engine with 4 pistons compare to a 400cc with 2 pistons petrol consumption will be different mehz? all same cc mahz..

  My CBR400RR aga aga 22km per litre. My old NSR125 25km per litre.
  
  2 stroke consume a lot of petrol bcos the combustion cycle is not efficient, some of the petrol never fully burn and some never burn at all go to exhaust liao. Thats why its not environmentally frenly. Support the 4 strokes!!! BOYCOTT HENRY AND AH TEE!!!!

  Yoh.......it's not discusssion of whether 2T / 4T more effecient...or more enviornment friendly.....
  
  there are many vehicles much more evironmently worse than 2T motor bike......hehe..........off track lah...
  
  btw. Feng125.....how much you got your CBR400RR. model?
  how come it so fuel efficient?
  not seen you on campus for long time leh.

  its an R model. you just change your hornet to gsxr400? tot i saw one at hall 6 where u used to park your hornet. anyway my fuel-mileage calculations are rough estimates becos i tend to remember the price i pay for fuel than the amount i pump.

  my gix also about there ... rounds down to abt 20km/litre.
  do ur own calculations.
  
  u might wanna retune ur carbies
  chk ur carb float to see if its still working.

  just confirm yesterday with accurate calculations.
  
  243km ran. pump 10.85L of Shell Super 98.
  
  works out to be 22.4km per litre on my R model.
  
  looks like the CBR is more fuel efficient than the gixx and kwacka.
