Riding in the Rain (a good solution)

I think we talk about this before, with people using slippers..etc..
i initially had those cheap ah-pek type of rain coat (cost about $15)
which is very unconfortable and un stylo, and lousy material.. and then my boots confirm be driping wet..
then i tried using plastic bags! (wrap my shoe with shoe lace to secure the plasic to my shoe..(that one not bad ah.. my boots are dry, but damm ugly lah.. and when u stop and put ur feet down very slippery!)
anyway last tuesday i went to LABS, and they had this rain coat (The brand is ProGrip) they say promotion,
selling for $35!
(and its look good! the material is good, lots of velcro and it has a good zip (those that wont get jammed easily)and it comfortable) and it comes with a small bag to put the raincoat in..(keep ur box organized abit lah...
If u buy rain coat u can get the shoe covers for $15
And those shoe covers are not bad (the brand is also ProGrip
i just tried them, easy and fast to wear and it works!
For those who are in the army you remember the overall we have to wear for chemical defence (there is one for the boots, well its similar to that..)
anyway for these few months, with unpredictable rain, not a bad idea to invest in a good rain coat all for $50....
Only issue is if i pillion someone and it rain.. pity man the pillion...my gear so good ..pillion have to wear the ah pek raincoat..
but if pillion is gf *sigh* then i have to wear the ahpek raincoat...

anyway check out the map..(the red Star is approx where LABS is) the name of the shop is not AhBOY but its 'regina something..' outside of the shop alot of bike box for display... u can miss that.. -
along the main rd, there is a chiap lee branch
they got sell VR1 black n yellow raincoat (set) for $28
another better one is $35, forgot wat brand.... -
yep i got mine at chiap lee but mine is givi raincoat... got it at $20 i tink... quality like progrip lei... oso come with a bag but not as good as progrip la the bag... with holes instead of all covered... but with holes means more ventilation and the raincoat won't stink when after rain and u put ur raincoat back to the bag...
LAB i got progrip for $35 and shoes for $15 as mentioned... got special offer meh?? tot tats the normal price...
