Cos if i was riding SP.. (shoik ahh.. can go to 100km/hr very fast... the tendancy to speed is quite high)
my bike (can go to 120km (but no so fast ahh..takes a while..)
so someties i faced near - accidental moments when i speed.. as no time to react...
but of course cannot blame the bike, its the rider ah.. we all have to be responsible.... ah.. -

i wanted to ride nsr150 but my father dun allow, force me take his phantom150. one year later, now taking off my p-plate soon, i say good call by him. of coz most riders wanna stylo get fast bikes once they pass, but until u buang, ur confidence will increase u keep riding faster more daring do more stunts until the day u buang or very close shave then u stop and think. sometimes even close shave not enuff.
phantom150 not that powerful not that fast, but u compare with sr125 of cdc or probably other learner bikes in other centers, its a world of difference. first time i try my ta150 at carpark, bloody hell the bike when valve open suddenly shoot forward like rocket too blur to brake both my legs come out as if can use my feet to brake, lucky never hit the car in front. and u will find the bikes can hit more than 100kmh, unlike sr125 u hit 80 u feel dam shiok. dats why u get more power bike u get more confidence u start go faster do stunts until the day u buang.
i say gd call by my dad bcoz the phantom force me not to try pattern. i cannot squeeze traffic, unlike my fren's nsr coz mine very wide, very heavy so low speed balancing not steady, and wide turning angle so cannot do stunt. in a way i kena force to ride safely. pickup although fast for a 2b but anytime cannot beat any racer so i oso cannot blow. even wif phantom sometime i try pattern but no way i managed to follow my 2 frens on their nsr. heng my only buang is skid on slippery road only cuts and bruises.
i still wish i riding nsr but still cannot, and fact remains the ta150 force me ride safer than if i had nsr. up to new riders wanna listen wat i say but i totally understand why ppl get 2b immediately go for the fast bikes. -

actually phantom cannot be considered safe bike. it's as fast as the SP but has shit for brakes. the turning angle is too wide, sometimes while turning kena forced by other vehicles (cars/bikes watever) to take a lower lean angle. the lean angle of this bike is also too low, such that if you enter a corner at too high a speed , good bye.
wanna do stunt or not is up to u one. last time my ta150, wheelie, burn out all do before. oso like to jam rear brake and let it skid to a stop sideways. i've managed an 80° wheelie before (or pop if you're anal about specific terms). it doesn't matter what bike you're on, if there's a will, there's a way. cutting through traffic, it's not as hard as you imagine it to be.
and now that i think back about it, i severely regret getting the phantom. i'd rather have an SP or a mito or a hornet oh heck even a skipper, at least those are fun to play with.
the only bikes worth riding are sportbikes. -

wat i was tryin to say is i agree nsr150 safer to do stunts than the ta150, but my opinion is doin stunts on ANY bike is less safe than not doin stunts on ANY bike. i dont wanna argue which bike better, i say b4 i like my ta150 though i still wish i had an nsr150. i just saying riding the ta150 forced me to ride safe, center lane, dont squeeze, dont speed, bank slowly, etc, which would not have been the case had i started wif the nsr150. i would have speed, squeeze, bank like moto gp, race wif my frens, until the day i would have had my first buang, and god knows how bad the buang could have been.wanna do stunt or not is up to u one. last time my ta150, wheelie, burn out all do before. oso like to jam rear brake and let it skid to a stop sideways. i've managed an 80° wheelie before (or pop if you're anal about specific terms).

actually ride which bike don't really make a such difference lor... the main factor is the rider lor... with nsr150, u can also ride safety...

when u get a fast bike you will tend to speed. but when u speed
you must also be alert and must act fast also.or else even if you
go slow but then not alert also will accident. -

sigh... after reading all the experiences before me, i feel like the most "kum lan" case one...
Buang 1:
one day i was waiting for my gf to call me to go out,
while waiting, i got sian, so i went to seletar there to play corner...
after going through the route for about 3-4 times SLOWLY
i started to pick up speed... then it happen...
i mistook a 90-degrees corner for a mild one (cos i thought the 90-degree bend is the later one mah) so i pick up speed then at about 90++ close to 100km, i realise siao liao... next thing i know,
i touch down like a NFL player and ended with some scratches on my fairing... and many scratches on my brand new ogk full face...
(heng ah, i wear full face that day...)
Moral of the Story:
- dun backside itchy go do stupid things
- wait for gf means wait
- lastly, the movie "legend of speed" is only a movie
