v-power burns very fast...hence the power...but at the same time it oso burns at a higher temp than other petrol...so if ur bike's optimum temp is not high...then its not good for ur engine in the long run

chris...i canot confirm on tat cos according to ppl at shell (used to work at shell petrol station) the mileage shd be the same cos although vpower burns faster...it oso burns more completely...but then again tats wat they claim...so i suggest tat if u really wanna know...juz do a simple experiment...fill one tank vpower then c how the mileage got differ...

chris...one more thing...i wash my carb at my moto tiam ay bk merah lane 1....$5...tink u say $15 u kena tok liao...but then again mayb ur one $15 they wash damn clean and alot of efforts i duno lah...
down at my mototiam for $5 they take out my carb...dismantle everything...take some of my petrol...then wash wif brush the carb and all the small screws -

chris...i heard alot abt jb petrol...but nv say they mix water leh...i oso nv go jb pump b4...frens jio...but my lanjio tz tank only max $11...then i say y bother? i tinking next time get 400cc...tank bigger...more worth it to go...

fooz...my shop is at bukit merah lane 1...lim ban huat...its basically a repairs only shop as they dun carry any bikes to sell...mostly old ppl...only 1 young lad...he is trainee...but oso do for a few yrs liao...i dun tink u kana tok...cos my servicing normally is $14....change eng oil $6 (lousy cos bike old...put rocket fuel oso the same) carb $5...spark plug $3...recently i oso change my chain...i duno much abt chain...only saw tat the brand is DID...i ask him if he change o-ring for me...he say no...cos o-ring very ex...tat sprocket asnd chain cost me $58...i know he wun tok me cos regular liao...so i trust them alot...but this shop is mostly rxks and lcs and ah pek bikes come look for them...i oso duno y...seldom c young ppl riding sp...tzm...or kawa go there...wan more details can pte me

now that u mention this, i remember my ta150, now with v-power, temp rise quite fast, especially traffic jam. btw, i onli squeeze if jam on expressway car never move, else if they go evn dam slow at 40kmh i will good boy follow within lane (only when bad jam to overtake is to squeeze dat kind). dats why evritime got jam i panic coz can see my ta150 temp rise very quick.
anybody here who got experience, is it that wif v-power temp will rise dam fast as compared to normal 98s? -

1. must hold ur bike up straight...
2. while u pump, shake ur bike left right front back...
3. dun see meter bar... if petrol overflow, stop awhile and shake to let the petrol drop...
4. continue step 3. a few time and u can get 17 liao...
but ave i pump is $16... that time is reserve almost finish liao... ha, last itime i friend want to went in and reserve used up half way... so better be careful... -

yah ducati i agree wif white phantom...vpower burns at a higher temp but i dun tink it whd be so bad as to overheat ur engine....check cooling agent as in radiater...mayb...juz mayb stg wrong there...
as to how ur supose to know wats the optimum temp for ur bike...hmm...tats quite diff...if got manual can try to get the info from there? but my lanjio tz always overheat 1....so no diff so i dun bother abt the temp gauge..anyway i pump bp 98...

IMHO i tink it goes to waste thru the excess hole...my petrol tank got one hole which my mototiam tell me its for petrol to flow out when u pump overshot...bt im not sure oso lor...so cant confirm...

for me, i tink our TA150 performs best when the temp gauge needle DOES NOT exceed the first line, that is considered very cool...
the max when i riding at day time (hot weather) is at the second line...
anything beyond half the temp gauge to 3/4 is considered very hot liao...
once it reach red zone (overheat), my fren said might cause piston jam.... dunno whether true anot... -
nevertheless, i tink petrol got nothing to do with the engine temp...
its jus a phycological effect brudder....
but stil its advisable to check ur coolant, maybe once every 3-4 months...
