Happy Riding.......
Yup. No difference from 2B except no road but longer circuit route. 2A look more into traffic rules then obsticle courses. As long as you dun have any immediate failures and check blindspots properly, shouldnt be a problem.Originally posted by tempest:Difficulty is mostly during Lesson 1 while getting used to the bike. Requirements at various stations are more stringent than 2B. For instance, you have to stay on narrow plank for >8 secs rather than 6 sec for 2B, e-brake to go 40km/h and under 13m and of course, the bumpy course. That takes a bit of getting used to. After accustomisation, piece of cake. Best of luck!
for fig 8 just open alittle throttle can already then use abit of rear brake to control if neccessaryOriginally posted by milkshake:erm, i tink for me, figure 8 and slyon quitte a pro to me atm, coz the horse power much different, cant open close throttle like 2B, so getting used to the bike is essential.
To pass all prac 1 time, is very easy, jus as long as u can clear all obsitcle, thats all
i manage that liaoOriginally posted by [Yoshiki]:for fig 8 just open alittle throttle can already then use abit of rear brake to control if neccessary
Ya...SO when's your TP?Originally posted by milkshake:i manage that liao
2A needs to maintain throttle instead of open and close
i next week christmas eve take prac 3, then 1 time pass, book TP, tp now is 28 jan, sianzOriginally posted by [Yoshiki]:Ya...SO when's your TP?

My personal experience, ........ i stop my 2A at prac 3, that was last year, now dun feel like taking at the moment. My 2A was taken at SSDC, weight wise, confirm heavier that 2B, but with some practise and on the move, no problem la. The rest like S/crank course same as 2B lor.....
Good luck to you.Originally posted by He77AnGeL:yoz hey guys...thanx for all ur sharing of experience!! i think i might b taking my 2a next year lor...Happy Riding and ho ho ho merry Christmas!!!
u 1 take wad version of S$?Originally posted by kokomo:haha... ya runner... mi got my 2A in Aug tis year but did not upgrade immediately... take my time to look ard first... as for the S4 i decide to delay till Feb then take as i going holiday in Jan!
as for 2A classes... i took at ubi... they using yamaha zeal so the height quite comfortable for my height...
prac 1 i tink its slope, narrow plank and slalom... the engine brake at 2A is must heavier so u cannot close trottle immediately like u do for 2B... but trust mi... you will get the hang of it very soon into the lesson... juz maintain the trottle instead of immediately closing it...
slope not much of a prob juz tat engine brake is heavier...
narrow plank is much easier than 2B as the wheels are larger in nature so much more easier to balance... no prob wif the 8sec...
slalom is a little tougher as the body of 2A bike is bigger so u need to swing the bike more...
prac 2 is on figure 8, crank course, ebrake and bumpy course....
figure 8 must maintain trottle so u need to use rear brake more to slow down at bends... crank course the same...
ebrake is the same as 2B but at higher speed of 40km/h... same technique as 2B...
alot say bumpy course is a killer but personally i felt bumpy course is the easiest!!
u will need to maintain half stand posture and put ur knees on the dent of the tank to maintain the bike... open and close trottle as u move along it...
prac 3 is an assessment of all... juz take note that u need to do alot of safety checks... its not a matter of skills more but ur safety checks will cause u ur TP if u did not do adequately... as 2A after all u been on the road for 1 year before going for it hence they will go for ur safety checks instead... remember ur blind spots, junction checks etc...
the above is wat i remembered... if i can do it... u all sure can as i quite short... hehe.... hey runner go take la.. when ur mood come? haha.... then we go chk out bikes!
anyway any gers got class 2 license? considering goin for it next year... care to share experience? esp the lifting of bike! hehe...
