i not sure if wat i hear from my TA150 same as yours.
it started from the front, a vibration like a loose rivet. i always hear it when moving off or just made a turn, at second gear i drag, valve open and u feel the sudden surge in pickup, i will hear that sound and it will continue on my 3rd gear's drag then when the pickup not as strong on 4th gear onwards no more sound.
i kept thinking it was piece of loose metal or nut in some mechanism at the front of my bike. then i heard it in the rear. then as the sound became clearer i realised it was my tyres. when i first heard it in front, it was my front tyre 'skidding' over the road surface coz its friction force or traction on the road surface weaker than the force from my rear tyres. aiyah i donno how to say, similar to car squeal their tyres when moving off except i never do on purpose.
at the time i just change my tyres, at 2000km++ liao. i didnt suspect the tyres at first coz i tot run-in period over after 2000k and cannot be exhausted already. mebbe i never run-in properly, or really after 2000k then it will start to run-in, i donno, but i now quite sure that it caused that funny sound and it is getting less and less. been 6000k on the tyres and the sound only slightly noticable.
