really new here. wonder if i can get help from you guys/ i'm planning to buy Phantom TA200, but still looking for motor shop to buy, at the moment i been asking at ubi there. is there any shop you want to recomend no matter if cheap or good service also can pull up. thankz a million .... pls help

Hello....me newbie to bikes too. been following this forum for quite some time, but never register n post.
Currently also searching for phantom. still deciding on TA150 or TA 200.
TA200 ---- Afraid the depreciation of the bike will be great if i wanna upgrae to a 2A bike. hated the run-in process oso. btw, is the resale value gd?
TA150 ---- Got more power since it's a 2 stroker. Afraid to get a problem bike.
hmm, went to a bike shop recently in balestier, they have a FR plate TA150(used for 3 years) selling for about 3000+ (not sure 3000 wat) and a new TA200 for $5100(without any things, insurance, road tax etc). would like to know the average price for a new TA200 and a 2nd hand TA150. thanks for any reply

try ban hon at amk ind park. the bikes there are cheap but the aftersales service is fuck up. find another workshop to do ur regular servicing. in short, buy bike from them then fuck off...Originally posted by IshII:hi guys,

hmm when to quite a few shops, TA150 average ard 3k. then brand new Ta200 ard 6.1k everthing ...
now just waiting for pay keke than can go buy... this was the price i ask fom ahTan at ubi ....
anyone bought from AhTan B4 ... can give some pointers ....
i though TA200 got more power ..... since it's 4 stroke ....
Ta150 has higher speed but less torqe ..... am i rite. ...
my frds riding Ta200 so i only tried the 200 ....
for the 150 not yet ....
by the way ... i'm thinking of changing the tires ...
any brands to recomend ???

hhmm, not so sure about the power between them. test rided a TA150 b4, but only in carpark, the power is quite gd(maybe becos i riding lao K now).
will keep on look out for more prices, and hope to chu chai soon. hope to meet some ppl from the forums too, as i m the only one riding among my friends, sianz...... -

I dunno where can get d phantom but for servicing d bikeshops at "AMK Industrial park 1" is good... try Eddie's, i always go there n d service is good.

Get a 200, u wun regret... though not the most powerful bike in the 2b range, its comfortable, fuel saving, electric start, low maintainance, no need 2T, nice sound, better torque...Originally posted by IshII:hi guys,

Phantom 150 has higher topend. New one can hit 180mk/h. But majority can only hit 170km/h now.2T maintenace is a thing not to be forgetten.
Phantom 200 has got faster pickup. But low topend. Heard 150km/h on meter. This is what I heard. I tried my frenz bike, his max max also cannot touch 130km/h. So dun ask me about how others hitting 150km/h.
Fuel consumption, TA200 is the best. Full tank can hit 380km. (Inclusive of reserve)
But, please take note: The design of the bike is not very good in terms of handling. Wobbling while moving of is a daily routine. Braking is also not that ideal though its a 2-disc brake. To improve its braking, getting good brake pads and steel braided brake hose will be a good alternative. TA200 one thing I don't like is the sound, and the vibration. Rather strong at higher rev.
4-strokers require more compression than 2 strokers. Torque for TA200 theoritically is better than TA150. -

Got pissed off with the office stuff at GHC serangoon branch. Called 2 weeks ago, at first said cannot change sub rider, must be family member then can allow to change, but later she say ok after negotiate. Just called back ,now told me die die cannot change the sub rider, its their company policy!!!!
But why is it that when i buy the bike that time they allow my friend to to my sub rider??????? Was very unhappy with them, intend to go down to china insurance to change the sub rider myself, anyone had any idea whether it can be done? Cause i'm so sick with their attitude and company law, which i believe its all rubbish! They just trying to push away people trying to get sub rider so as to COI the bike. Somemore they say got to reloan from them if change sub rider, isn't it obvious that they just wan to get money from me!!!!
