Cheap good Engine oil

  Any one got recommendation for "Cheap good Engine oil"??
  theres semi-syn and full-syn, full -syn alwasys much more ex..
  anyway im still running in so no point use full-syn...
  the bike shop i go for servicing only has SPF semi-syn and its $10 per bottle! ex huh!, a friend got esso for only $5! and my bike needs 2 bottle so its $20!! siong lah sumore the oil filter is $10..
  
  so is $10 the standard price ?
  for running in do we need to change the oil filter as well?

  go for mineral oil during running in. for normal usage, a semi-syn will do.

  ops.. sorry for the confusion. k here's my method.
  
  when i get the bike, i would ride bout 300km and flush away the oem oil without changing the oil filter. once it hit the milleage stated by ur manual, flush it again and change the oil filter.

  Go to Carrefour at Suntec to get Total Semi-synthetic and Fully-Synthetic oils at $3.75 and $4.10 per litre respectively!They're cheap and good!

  its made in s'pore by a u.s or french coy. if i'm not wrong.

  "Total" brand under license by France but manufactured in SGP and tat's why it's cheap...I have been using it all along and it's worth every penny u buy!

  Hey PGM4RIDER!, many thanks for recommending total!,
  i just got 2 bottle of the fully syn and yeah its worth it. the rating i tink its 15W50W (or something like that is similar to repsol) which is (10W50W) somehting like that thus, its almost as good as repsol (as what a friend told me and 2 L only 8.20! as compared to the semi-syn (spc brand) which i bought at the bike shop for $20!!!
