change lane never signal! and worst those idiot who drive in the middle of 2 lanes!!! What the hell are u doing u want to be in the first lane or 2nd??? your father road huh?
i htink these people drive too much lah that why they are like that..and the worst part.. we bikers cant do anything...
i got a friend who got a car and this taxi just jam brake infrom of him.. for passenger.. then he nearly hit the taxi.. so he decided to over take the taxi and then drive infrom the taxi and then suddenly also jam brake... like 4-5 time...

actually, if we stood by their point of view(taxi driver), there are many drivers on the road nowadays n themarket so bad, hardly got customer.
so when they saw got customer they will w/o hesitation of checking blind spot or wat n sevre to the customer., they also 1 3 earn $$, but they jus did it the wrong way, try put into their shoe, n if i'm 1 of them, i would do the same, but in a more safly manner

i think wat milk boy said is quite true cause my uncle is a taxi driver too he got alot of yrs of exprience and i have sit in his cab before he is a veri considerate and safety driver......sorry to said this but is not all taxi drivers who are like wat of you u guys said..... there is sure a number of them who are less FxxK up than the rest........ Not all taxi drivers are like that.... But I have experience that cab just suddenly stop then on hazzard lights one...... To me, sometimes the rider have to be alert...... if you are behind a cab, and you saw people standing by the side of the road, you got to slow down and prepare to stop or prepare to change lane...... Got to be observant lah.... but sometimes...... they really sux......

eh... taki drivers just fews days ago , my frend skidded bcos of taxi driver , following taki , like 2 cars distance , somemore raining heavily , travelling around 50 km/hr , all sudden taki jam brake cos got customer , making my friend ski, but now i think de taxi driver in big shit cos my friend father is a lawyer , and he say his father going take legal action .

taxi drivers....some are good.....some have questionable driving habits.....swerve into the left lane to pick up passengers...switch on hazard lights...yes....as if it will help when U are very close to their back bumpers as they swerve in...some drive with the lane divider under their taxi and behave as it it is right of them to do it....

i would think everyone would agree taxi driver are out there to make money, but what if bec of their reckless action to get a customer, they just cut in and stop the cab, and then maybe an inexperience rider behind him. slow to react and bec of the taxi driver reckless act.. this new rider bang head on the taxi fly to the road and a trailer running at hi speed run over the rider...
i mean fair is fair, but to take a chance on someone else life is unfair... u wanna take the risk with your own life, thats your problem, but you wanna take the risk on my life thats not fair, im not a cat, .. i only got 1 life...and thats all...
if i die.. then my parents how?

All we all need is abit of consideration for others...especially when it comes to other people life
i agree we riders also have to do our part..
when we see cab.. prepare to give way.. and prepare to stop when they are taking in customer
but there is only so little that we can do...
taxi driver also have to be considerate to the lifes of the riders
an example: recently a taxi driver doing an illegal u-turn in bedok (i guess to save time and to go to the destination fast) so he do an illegal uturn, and then never check blind spot (he assue everything is ok) then a rider going straight , bang on to him and DIE (with his pillian)
is this fair?
when your dead... would u still feel that we should be considerate to the taxi driver? after all he did the illegal u-turn and never check blind spot bec to make money to please the customer,

You all will not know until you try it... Once onli and you will remeber for life... Not onli rider and driver get involve in accident wif taxi... Even perdestian also can get involve... I got a friend who is crossing a zebra crossing also kanna bang by a taxi.. he fly man.. Seriously injuried.. 9 rider/driver out of 10 accident involve taxi... 
I nv get way to taxi, always go infront of them and drive slowly, onli middle finger to them but no thank you... -

sounds harsh? yes it is, but remember many fellow riders have been killed by those bastards. when i read in the papers that a cab driver is involved in an accident, i pray for his early departure from this planet. cruel? yes, but remember this again: MANY FELLOW RIDERS ARE KILLED BY THEM. -

I understand that they are some considerate n nice cabbys out there.
But there realli issint a need to "put into their shoe" as wad u said.
For wat manz, tell them lah (those fook up bastards), tell them to ride bike, I drive taxi. They wear helmet, twist throttle.... I hold steering wheel, blow air-con....
Come loh, come tell them to be in our shoes.
Travel all over Singapore, see how they die, wet pants and then they will learnt.
