Squeezing through traffic

When you guys/gals do it? For me, when the traffic gets jam up or slow down too much, then confirm will start to squeeze through vehicles.
I know very dangerours but if got bike don't squeeze, then got bike for what?
But last time on my Lao K, still can get through most of vehicles, now got big bike already, sometimes get stuck also in traffic jam. Bike too big, gap between car too narrow, hiya...stuck...then I see the cup kia zoom past me...
Bike big sometimes also not good... -

No lah...confirm dun wan to change back to small bike, cause when I ride small bike, like king kong riding on bicycle...

I dunno .... you get bike just to squeeze between traffic one meh ? Bike like any other vehicle is used to commute between places. Dun because people squeeze you also start squeezing for fear of being labelled as "buay zai". Traffic jam squeeze, ok, taking advantage of small size, I got nothing to say. But normal travelling if also squeeze, ok fine, then you must be prepared to answer for your own action if anything happens. for me, i will seldom stay directly behind vehicles, its either i overtake them, stay behind at a FARRRR distance or stay behind near the lane divider.
This is to give myself ample time to react in case that vehicle infront decided to play the last min braking game to test his own braking system.
I'm not confident of able to surpass anyone so i rather stick to dotted line and overshot and hit the mirrors. -

Maybe can try leaving a space smaller than a car's length. Since it's a jam, vehicles are moving slowly. So if you are moving slowly too, and keeping a lookout for the vehicle in front, it's ok to follow just a bit close.
But sometimes, sad to say, drivers dunno what is overtaking etiquette. The vehicle haven pass a bike completely, they start shifting to your lane. It's like you and the car side by side, they already halfway into your lane. I always get mad when that happens. I'll horn them and get ahead of them depending on situations. Some say just let them pass and save all the trouble. But if you dun tell the errant drivers that they are irritating you, they start thinking it's all right and everyone who drives a car starts doing it.
Seems to me, riding on the shoulder lane like safer than squeezing through the cars. But alas, there's the fine to watch out. -

u can squeeze btw cars, zig zag ur way thru, n u can also weeze in n out of the shoulder lane w/o hassle! But do it safely lah...
as regarding overtaking vehicles, i tink better not leave too much space in front, or else impatient drivers n bikers wil stil try to overtake u side by side...
no choice but to follow the front vehicle closely, n prepare to tap ur brakes, alert for wats happening in front of ur front vehicle! -
traffic jams i will lanesplit.
Normal riding i leave a space in front, whichever bugger tries to cut me off, my horn will sound ALL THE WAY. -

They drive car, dont know our braking distance is much longer than them, therefore we need more space. only do so when there's allowance and keep a safe distance between u and the vehicle in front.. -
in the driving centre, u are always advised to ride in the middle of the lane so tt pple dun squeeze u out.

That's what the centre teaches ... and in real life, I was in the centre of the lane. In fact I was nearer to the right side of the lane. Yet the bugger still choose to sqeeze me in. Sorry, man. Best of all. I got one case, the bugger behind me in same lane. Then dunno wat happened, he changed lane accelerate, just to slot himself in front of me. Fine, as if not happening enough, he starts slowing down. Best. He needs the horn. -
dats why sometimes i anti-driver. and before some driver start flaming me i say first i not anti ALL drivers, just the black sheep on the road.
not say i model road-user, but at least i try respect other road-users. what i cant stand is all this campaign about riding safely, making riding training stricter, i oso hear always driver grumble about how some riders ride like they immortal, but why izzit when i do the correct thing i always get bullied by car? i say first i dont ride slow and i dont road hog. that little bit of time u save by cutting me worth more than my life?
i know rider fatality on road very high but why ppl always point finger at riders? all fatal accidents involving rider always rider at fault? want to come out riding safety campaign, want to make riding training tougher, fine and well, very good, but why nothing done on part of drivers? why nobody upstairs telling and teaching drivers that since we a lot more vulnerable they must take care of us, at the same time that we should take care of ourselves? -
i also started to squezze liao
last time i dun meet up with traffic jams one
now have to enter PIE from bedok reservior....
then need to squeeze.... heng bike small with no mirrors.... thus no big problem
but i admire those uncles and malaysian rider.....
they squeeze like u and i do...... but they do it real fast man....
maybei not skilled enough lah.... but honestly.... i am too scared to do tat
