Hi~ Taking my 2A, any tips?
BBDC is it easy to clear the 3 practicals? From what I know BBDC got 3 pract but 12 subjects in all... Like that will take very long to clear all the pract right? -
3 pracs onli...possible to clear all 3 in one try, but b4 booking prac 3 , it's a must to attend the theory lesson. Pracs quite easy to pass, unlike class 2b pracs.

Yeah, Class 2A practicals are easy as long as you get the technique right for the obstacle courses.
Well, I ride a phantom 200, the first time I mounted onto Hornet, is pretty difficult, as riding posture is so different. Should not be a problem for you if you are already riding a sport bike.
Maybe just to give you a heads up.
Practical 1 - Narrow Plank, Salom, Slope
Practical 2 - Figure 8, Crank course and E-brake
Practical 3 - Evaluation
So to complete your 2A with 3 practicals is possible!!
I need 4 practicals to complete the course .. and my test date is 12 Nov. Wish me luck -

Just went for my pract 1 this morning. 1 time pass
. The instructor very lenient. At first got onto hornet not use to it, engine brake very strong, throttle response cannot get hold. After riding for afew rounds then use to it already. Will be having my pract 2 tomorow. -

Oh yeah. How can I miss out bumpy course. Sigh, I lost my balance twice while doing the bumpy course .. coz I stepped the brake too hard, engine died. haha.
Now I have a phobia ...

hehe, get ur thumb ready on the igntion switch always... my class 2 TP, my engine died on bumpy but i on it back immediately and stalled there for 2 secs balancing.Originally posted by tigi:Oh yeah. Hmm, maybe they are "lenient" bcos we already have riding experience. -
btw, u will recieve letter about 4 weeks b4 ur licence ends rite?
then u will be given time to renew ur licence, which they state renew b4 2 weeks ur licence expire, then hor if 2 weeks eailer renew liao, can go book 2A bo? or must wait for that day till ur licence expired? -
When you do your bumpy course try not to use the brake on the 1st half of it, you will notice that the last half of them the spacing is wider so you can use your brake. This is wat the instructor told me the other time. The coordination with the trottle and the clutch muz be at the same time then you will get the effect. Hope that helps.

Actually the instructors are stricter than the TP ones. I've got problem with the bumpy course, my instructor told me to open throttle and clutch together before applying brake. kinda works but i think i cleared course too early .... also the balancing can be a little tricky. so far all the guys that went before me passed the course ... sigh. so demoralising.
