Questions for Skipper or Auto-Scoot Riders

Just bought a Skipper about a week ago. Wanted to send the bike for starter repair bcos everytime I try to electric start, it gives this ziiiiinng sound. So it takes throttle adjustment skill just to start it.
So I went around to ask for quotation:
1) Went to the Lavender rd Esso Station scooter servicing shop. After hearing my starter, the uncle tell me solenoid (dunno what the heck he's saying) spoil so to change it he say cost $230 !! Wah piang !! I said thanks and left.
2) Then I went to Ubi (the shop next to First motor). Can't remember what is the name of the shop. The fella tell me "Oh...this one I think battery problem". I tell myself, "This guy dunno nuts about bike" bcos my battery is damn new.
3) Went down 2 shops down. This fella tell me, oh I think its either your large gear or your small gear spoil....need to open up and check. Cost about 100+ or more. Nevermind...I still not convince he know what the problem is.
4) Then I went to one shop that is about 2 shops away from Dexing. This fella tell me large gear at the starter spoil...100+ to change.
5) Then I went to Tampines (Gerry Looi). This guy tell me the starter relay spoil, need to change. Cost about $90. Still I did not send in cos after all this I was confused !!
Well the moral of the story is.....no bloody shop I went to is really competent. Most try to ketok your money...shit !!
So fellow skipper bikers or any auto-scoot riders, PLEASE recommend me a goood shop, trust-worthy and reliable where I can send my bike for repair and regualr servicing. Tell me the name of the bike shop and the location and who to look for. OR if anyone has encountered this starter problem before, I would like to know what is the remedy.

gerry motor tiam (tampinese), my driving instructor told me got one worker call A-MIA(malay guy) is gd in repairing.
so u went to tat shop might be reliable....
hey.. don ever go to the shop beside gerry.... name AH LOO...
actually the repairman is a malay la... he damn idiot...
he do job very lousy, don ever go to him!!!
he knn.. do my insurance liek shit, charge me high high!!!!!!
i just found out.. but bo bian can do nth......
he only tok big, do my bike... u noe, when i collect it from servicng, i took my bike to another shop in ubi industrial park, name XTREME..
theres a young mechanic who noes alot for aprilia bike, so i send there lo...
then... found out.. knnn!!!!!!!!!!1 my coolen no water!!!!!!! ccb!!!
i ride for so many f__king days then inside actually got no water!!!
then tat guy help me service and all lo..
so maybe ur skipper can send there to try to repair la... XTREME at ubi industrial. -

I did go to Gerry at Tampines and was very tempted to go to the shop next to him (the one call Ah Loo). Heng ah...I din go there.
Well I still do not know exactly what my bike problem is but after reading and searching through the web, I think I have narrowed the fault to two things :
1. Faulty starter pinion
2. Faulty starter gear assembly
Anybody knows how much this will cost to get it repaired ??

yah no regret...
got my 2b and 3 liao..
just got my aprilia on the road on 12ocT!!!
11 days/// and spend 55 till today on petrol!!!!!!!! kns, one day $5./////
then 2t 2 wks spend finish liao, just bought one new one today..
go wash carburetor....(how to spell).. tuning.. .all shit..
then now suspension got problem, rear wheel botak liao.. haha
but now my bike can run smoothly at 110kn whenever i ride to sch to bukit timah la... hehe so now no problem as yet... so have to just spend $$ on my very expensive petrol .!!!!!!!!!!!1
