i ride phantom no diff mah....wah lau...i ride chris tzr also like tt...its the problem when pple think so much lor...starting they scared pillon very diff etc then sure fall mah

Partly la. Bike no power is 1 thing la. But also must see the pillion weight and how the pillion sit all that. U can try pillion someone heavy, tell him to sit near u, then a bit futher from u. I pillion Ah Tee, he nv use his knee to grip my hips. He sit near to me still quite ok. If he sit more behind, can feel the difference 1, my front wheel like lighter and difficult to control.
I pillion Henry, he know how to sit, use his knee to grip my hips tightly. So the bike easier to control, except no power and longer braking distance due to the extra load la.

so no worries.. want to cover up the bike also ok.. got a friend with a phantom 200, coverend his bike after he just park and the 'canvas' material stick to his exhaust! ahh yaaa.. stain it liaw... -

Been riding for 1 year plus liao ... the entire riding experience, I only pillion people twice. Once when I pillion mom to Chinese Garden. The other time, pillion my frend to Changi see air show. Yah, hand very the suan.
Still remembered the time when we go Changi that time, I went to my friend's place to fetch him. Then there's this U-turn when we came out from his place. I couldn't negotiate the U-turn. Turned through 270 degrees niah, the bike started to lean. I quickly steer straight. Ended up I had to stop because I reached the opposite kerb liao. Then reverse slowly before turning through the remainding 90 degrees. Quite malu. Because got this taxi behind me, think the uncle must be wondering what the 2 jokers doing with the bike. hee hee
Oh ... guess wat ... I never get to pillion anybody during bike lesson due to some matters.
Anyway, a friend told me her experience on a bike as a pillion. Think the rider din brief her about pillioning as he thought my friend appeared sporty and should know how to ride as pillion. So when the rider leaned the bike at corners, my friend became very frightened, and leaned to the opposite side; she thought she was supposed to lean the opposite side to counter-balance her friend. After that, she dare not pillion anymore. So lesson .... always brief your pillion on riding SOPs. -
That is y dont corner too low when u dont know the pillion well lor. If the pillion counter-lean, it might cause u to be inable to pass through the corner smoothly.
