Question about petrol

What kinda petrol u all using? My friend call me to use ESSO or Mobile Petrol better as it makes ur bike performances better... is it true?
Now i'm using the Shell's Fusion 98 , then once a while V Power.
Is it good if we change the petrol frequently? For eg today use Shell, tomorrow use Esso then after that use Mobile

i think watever petrol u use oso dun reali make any diff lor.... u use esso doesnt mean u can ride ur bike all the way to thailand without stopping....

Petrol of different company about the same 1 la. Just the octane level nia. Higher octane burn faster, therefore power come faster.

SO do u think its better that we ride until have to use reserve then change the petrol brand (eg BP to Esso)?
or no need to wait until empty can just mix petrol...
altho im using BP somehting 95 or 98 ( i also dont know lah)
too many type ask the petrol station sttendant they also dont know lah -

don't think so. octane levels became important after leaded petrol got phased out. i don't know the chemical structure of a typical octane additive, but i do know that its purpose is to prevent detonation, or "knocking" or pre-ignition, to prevent engine damage (imagine your air/fuel mix igniting before the piston reaches TDC). high compression-ratio engines typically demand high-octane fuels... rate of burn really depends on your engine design and your jettings, and spark plug efficiency.Originally posted by No_regret:I think is higher octane burn faster, read it dont know from where quite long ago liao.
