which model for zxr?
rvf pickup is very good...but top end sux. price also so ex...but sooo
many ppl buy...duno why nia...
cbr..depends which model u talking abt. L model is not bad..top speed good lor. the fastest among cbrs. price moderate bah..
my fren got his for only ard 4k+ -
CBR 400 hurricane, old but strong.
good and cheap, some top speed faster than fireblade.

i agree that if RVF never mod is sux,but once u mod it,the top end is very gd also, i am currently riding RVF,did alot of mods on it and the top end is better now,is 240km/hr on a rvf sux??

not to compare in-line-4 engine,v-engine the repsonse is better and the engine is much quiet .
zx is nice but the spare parts are quiet expensive and now i think its quite rare to find zx in shops already,but i think zx is fastest in 400caterory,
cbr is nice also,only certain model of it has the best in speed,easy to find and cheap to buy now,RL model is to be the fastest i think in CBR model and the maintenece wise is the same as most 400cc bikes
gsxr is also gd,heard that got 1 model of gsxr is the fastest above all 400cc,but very rare to find now,heard that on the very gd condition of that model can reach around 250km or slightly above. not too sure about it.
for maint wise,every 3k done i will change,oil filter,engine oil,the next 3k will also change the same thing,till 9k also do the same things, but on the 12k,i will change spark plugs,oil filter,engine oil,wash carb and tune carb and wash air filter.
normal servicing cost around $70 to $80, but once the 12k is up,,,prepare around $200 plus plus for full servicing
thats how i maintain my bike,as for some other riders,,not too sure on how they maintain their bike -
erm wat u mod on ur rvf....the petrol how much n run till how many kilo???if i juz put air filter how diff is the performance

hi, the fuel consumption is 180km, turn to reserve tank,think i mod too much and the fuel is highly use ,so around total of 220 to 230km is the most i use it,go to jb pump is around rm21.00, sg never pump full,,,no $$
i change CDI,rear sprocket,2brother exhaust header,muffler is micron,mx-cdi,oil needles,oil jet,change carb to nc30 carb,air box i did someting to it,cannot tell
the air box if u chane,the air in-take will be faster,pick up should be better and fuel consumption is slightly higher,not much of different

cos fireblade cut at 180... the pipe is oso slimmer.. maybe ur "fireblade" is mean L-model sibo?? -
the mod is done together with some other things,,,,but should be around $200plus for the header and muffler cos my total for the mod is 1k plus.......dun mod so much things,,,,wait go LTA inspection for rd tax got to redo some things,,,,then waste time here and there

header is for better output for the engine making it faster for pickup also...but more oil will also be consume
,,,,,,,my mechanic always say,,,more input,,,,sure more output. so if not dun mod.......hahahaha,,,,,maybe wat he saying is abt money...
