BTW, ANI1 NOE HW 2 MAINTAIN THE CHAIN?... -

Remember that if you do change the chain, the sprockets will have to change too. Different bikes have different chain size and prices. For your bike shld be ard $100++ depending on o ring or x ring.
Buy chain lube and spray on the rubber seals on the chain. (any bikeshop will sell) Take diesel or kerosene with a toothbrush to clean the chain , brush off all the grease and sand particles so you can relubricate the chain.

but hw do u actuali clean the chain....? coz my bike (sp) seems lyk lyk thr is a guard or sumtin yk dat.... cant reali reach the chain... -

use a toothbrush soaked with diesel and brush it. then rinse in diesel again. rotate the rear wheel and clean other portions of the chain..dry with cloth and spray chain lubricant.
I have to re-enforce that this is not the only method to clean the chain but simple enought to do the task without needing much technical knowledge
