Anyway, my bike is Red, not blue.
As how to remove the rubber off the exhaust:
1. Thin Layer: Autosol can do the trick but very shack..
2. Thick layer =>
Before moving off for a ride, spray oil(chain oil or any oil) onto the pipe. Once the pipe get hot, the rubber will melt again and the rubber will flow down and help to thin down due to the oil.
Upon coming back from the ride while the pipe is still very hot. Do it fast.
a)Get a chain oil or any oil and spray onto the rubber layer. Now the rubber should be soft due to the heat. Spray at will and spray generously
The purpose of the oil is to act as a buffer layer to prevent contact of the rubber to stick to the pipe.
b) Get a newspaper and crush it into a ball, use it like a cloth and wipe the rubber off. You might need to repeat the procedure several time in order to thin down the rubber layer which means U cannot do it after one trip.... unless U trottle it till the pipe get hot again.
c) Mostly what are left are thin layer of rubber, Then use plenty of Autosol to put it to shine!!!

Warning: Try not to use any knife or sharp object to scrap it off.. The only problem that U will have is a pipe full of scratches...

well hot pipes besides melting plastics like shoes and cover also burn ppls legs.. better be careful..
think the stain can easily be remove when its hot with cloth. even old stain can be remove this way... once off engine can clean liao..
if cool can use WD40. think the effect better then autosol. but then still need to final touch up with cloth when pipe is hot. then with wax.
never use shampoo just use water with a bit of wax added to it will give the shine...
cover can use the type that feels like paper (thin and light)... outside is silver and inside is green.. bought it at 20 buts.. those given by the bike shop all cheap ski so sure kana melt... use the better one can cover straight away when u park.
as for engine oil, use esso gold cost 25 bucks but better then mobil one and repsol.. any other gd brands??
like to take care of my bike cos i dont like to push bike...

anyway, stains on the exhaust remove very simple, use those normal thinner, put on cloth, wrap a coin inside (make sure your cloth wun tear hor, or else hor......) then try to scratch to make the rubber come off. this can be done even if the pipe is not hot. safer, at least you wun get scalded
