Go Orchard Park where?

Sad manz, I kena a $70 fine for parking behind HMV.
It all happened when my frens and I went over to Orchard to see the Liondance Competition, we wanted to park our bikes at Crown Prince Hotel, where I ususally do.
But the secrurity there wounld'nt allow and explained that there's a dinner function that particular nite and they need parking lots for the cars, attending the function.
There were really lots of cars and bikes that nite.
So we "bo bian", and headed right behind HMV, and saw a group of Malay riders with bikes consisting of R1s, VTRs, TZMs, blah blah blah..... and they were like waiting for sth. There's abt around 9 or more of them, and there's also a few other bikes.
We were late and the it seems it's gonna rain soon, so we park beside the malay bikes and hurried to the competition.
When we were back, the group of malay bikes were no longer there and only a few of our bikes and others were left.
And to our Astonishment!
All of us had a parking fine, big big A4 size paper ar!
We were caught parking opp. continous white line, damned!
Last Saturday, I went over to TP HQ (the lions' cave) all the way from Jurong to Ubi, to appeal for my fine and the stupid Auntie Staff Sergeant said: "I'm sorry, that place is a common-complain-area, you can pay your fine over at the counter."
Fook her stupid smelly pussy up her damn nerdy head

So where you guys normally park in town?
Many buildings there restrict bikes and I believe sooner or later, Crown Prince Hotel will follow suit.
The lots opp. Cineleisure is always full during weekends and FYI, $0.65 coupons are needed EVERDAY.
So sad, really a headache when parking at Orchard. -

how long did u park ur bike there?
if it was less than 2-3 hrs, really damn suay
haizz, i tink last time got one thread regarding parking places in SG. orchard also got a few....
all i know that the infamous mosque carpark is oredi cash-cardised, so i tink very few of us will ever park there again..
normally when i go orchard, i will park at the CKtang/Marriot carpark
the turn-off is that must go up slope til about 2-3 storeys high, then when coming out, stil must go up slope to 4th storey n then let ur bike roll down the spiral all the way... sian!
but if u r at orchard area nearer to somerset, u can try the underground parking at the fitness center opp cineleisure.
I heard oso that centre PT also got free parking for bikes... correct me if im wrong

but now, abit demotivated liao, cos of the heavy traffic at peak hrs, n difficult to find gd parking places.. As u know, if u go jalan jalan with ur frens, surely will walk at least 1/2 or 3/4 of orchard rd... haizz then must walk back to carpark again...sian
nowadays, i prefer to go neighborhood shopping ctrs... jus one stop.. more convenient leh -
you can appeal thru your district minster and not to the TP itself ... cos ppls at TP will not gif a damn to you

tink orchard road carparks r being bias against motorist liao.....last time park free wan.....now they stop us from parking. si beh niao....

So my advise to you guys is dun anyhow park manz, esp in Town areas.
If really need to pay for a minimal parking fee, bo bian, pay loh....

the carpark beside specialist john little there also not bad.. although need coupons, but always have vacancy there.. those "aunties" also seldom visit there.. park there a few times without putting coupons but nothing happened..
