How to get a bike licence?

yeah yeah yeah i know it's a stupid question but i've been out of singapore for very long and i didn't even get my driver's licence here so i don't know much..
i know how to ride a bike, not as well as u all here but can is can lar... i rode my fren's yamaha fzr600 (i think!) illegally while in australia so i guess i THINK i know how to ride
so wat is the process in sg to get a licence? i have a sg drivers' licence already.. does that matter?
it's just that i've been wanting to buy a car... but that's like too ex. maybe a bike would be a good way to have transport while i save up enuff for a car. cos i ain't too good with the bus drivers
dun forget to incl costs for lessons and the tests itself, also cost of bikes and coe in sg. i know it's a pretty vague question but aiyah help lar...

Go to any driving centre to enrol in whatever class you want. For you I think you need a class 2b although you know how to ride a 600cc. You have to start from scratch. Bring your Passport, NRIC, Valid qualified foreign driving licence, Proof of date of passing driving test or date of first issue of driving licence and Official translation if documents are not in english.

er ok... i have NO motorbike licence at all from any country but have a SINGAPOREAN driver's licence.
and yes i'll have to start from the bottom.. which is 2b rite? so no need basic theory blah blah all that?
treat me like i'm a 6 yr old... i'm that clueless!! -

Yap start from 2b. With riding theory test instead of basic theory. You need information of driving centres? Which area you stay? North, south, east, west? -
yah class 3 and it's valid no worries

north i guess.. but if there's one at ubi then ubi also pretty near... or is that for cars only? -

1.enrol urself in one of the driving schools in sg. enrolment fee ard $70++
2. go for theory lessons conducted by the sch, sit for a RTT (riding theory test), apply for PDL.
3. attend practicals at driving centre, you wil nid the PDL before u can go on the road for practicals.
(step 2 and 3 can be done concurrently)
4. complete and pass all practicals den wait for ur TP test date lor.
5. Buy bike( max 200cc), insurance coverage etc.
a yr after u passed ur class 2b, u may enrol for ur 2a if u intend. and likewise for class 2.

and generally speaking how much do these bikes cost...
brand new and second hand....
and hor.. got 10 year coe same as cars rite? and got count depreciation or wat?
