how to scrap a bike huh? what is the procedures n fees? other than bikeshop any other way? thks for reading this.....pls give ur experience n valuable advices

go lta webbie check,
they got a list of aprroved scrappers,
bring the chassis n engine case to them, u can take the rest of the bike
then go lta de register
best let bike shop do la, save all the trouble -
thks for it...but need to sign wat thing anot? .....my fren got a bike wan to scrap but he got a lorry so can brin to scrap his own....the remaining coe how? other than those two things , he can keep the other parts huh????

for ur COE, u onli get back paper value, NOT CASH
which onli can be used to offset any new bikes' COE ( a gd alternative is to sell to ur friend getting new bike, or sell to bikeshop or car dealers)
how much left, depends on how old is the bike and how much u paid in the first place

n yes, u onli need to bring ur chassis and ur engine casing onl, u can keep the rest

If you send for bike for scrap by yourself, you can dismentle and keep most of the thing, but you have to bring it there and pay $40 (?). Then you will given a "letter" to deregistered the bike.
If the bike has totally no value, just give to the bike shop, they will scrap for you, but they will dismentle the bike and take the spare parts. -

You will need to ride the bike to the shop.... bring along your Log Card....
Usually is free, bcoz they can take the spare parts from the bike. Some of the parts might have more value to them...... that make them happy to do the dirty work for you.....
Don't forget, they will have to pay $40 to scrap the "remain" later.... -
