Wanna find out what are the available 2A bikes in the market and the prices for them; provided that they are new, first hand one... not second hand one... I understand all Honda sports bike stop production oreadi...

super 4= around 11.4k
xjr 400 = around 11k
shadow/slasher= around 10k

now must plan plan b4 buyin bike... wat bike r good? sports bike stop production oreadi the prices very ex... might s well get class 2... i mean a new RVF cost $18K... might s well wait another yr upgrade class 2 then get R1? Not worth it la to me the price... wat abt those non sports bike one?? or any recommendation that is worthwhile buyin one... thks... S4, its performance no doubt is unrivalled.... but price wise, dun tink its dat cheap.... -

Hi bro,
Just a small piece of advice... try your best not to buy first hand Class 2 Bikes, the depreciation if you sell within 1 to 11/2 years is extremely high. (speaking from personal experience).
Let someone else absorb the depreciation for you and then get what you want. Trust me there will not be a shortage of bikes out there for you to ride (2nd hand ones).
However, if you are the sort who insists on riding brand new bikes then there must be a certain cost with which you must be prepared to pay. -

rvf i heard stil got new ones but very very limited... and cost as high as $18k...
i dunno whether i wanna upgrade 2 a class 2 license anot as I might as well upgrade to a car by then... hence I m tinkin of upgradin a 2A bike first b4 deciding on anythin... I oso dunno whether I can handle a class 2 bike anot... but most prob I will give it a try... juz felt the maintenance btween a car and a class 2 bike ranges not very far actually... provided 2nd hand car.. btw i m a gal... -
car and bike parking got very big difference.
even a class 2 bike will drink less petrol than a car

Yup Nismo is definately correct... petrol, insurance, parking fee (what the hell is that?... if you ride a bike) maintenance and general running costs such as tyres, aircon repair etc. will slowly but surely bleed you dry. (from personal experience)
I currently ride a bike when I had previously owned a car and my bank balance is much happier now.
Just my 2 cents worth. Btw a variety of models exist for the class 2 category of bikes, since you are a girl, you may want to consider, depending on your taste a 600 -750 class machine, if sports bikes are your thing maybe a CBR600F4/S

Used G4 should be a good buy. 2k-4k price range for FM FN FP plates. ZX4 also not bad. RVF and CBR rather expensive. Now only Super4 production new bikes for 2A. Otherwise try cruisers. Some 250 and 400cc cruisers not bad also.Originally posted by kokomo:Hi,

If you want more power needless to say, go all the way to ZX12R or G13. But be prepared for high insurance premiums.
