it could be your rectifier spoil liao.or the signal relay.Originally posted by WhitePhantom:hi guys
recently encounter tis problem. signal indicator dun seem to work when the bike is moving with the throttle open. but when stationery or when throttle is closed, it works leh...
thats y i sumtime forgot to off my signal lights.. basket!! the indicator's not blinking i tot off liao...
rectifier is ok i tink...cos when i open throttle, the headlight wil brighter. tink must be the relay ... thanks heyOriginally posted by LCBear:it could be your rectifier spoil liao.or the signal relay.
just go to ah boi and buy a relay.then just unplug the one on your bike then plug the new one in lor.then try it whether it works anot.DANGER! do all your installation with the power OFF.if not sway sway shorted abit then the fuse blow or more stuff go haywire.Originally posted by WhitePhantom:rectifier is ok i tink...cos when i open throttle, the headlight wil brighter. tink must be the relay ... thanks hey
so now wat 2 do with the relay? jus bring to mech ask them adjust or change the thing or jus check for me???
i tink its normal lar...ur rectifier is working fine.. except ur batt abit weak liao.. but mine is totally no indicator when moving but the signal lights stil blinking happilyOriginally posted by milkshake:btw LC, mine is TZR..
dun noe y uh, my signal, neutral when on stationary, all very weak , like 1 2 die like that..
but green light, i open trottle/switch on signal
then like the signal blink faster/brighter, but on stationary like weak weak....
y?
battery i jus changed, so no problem with thatOriginally posted by l3stat:liews.. the signal relay everyone is talking about controls the blinking of the signal lights. if your signal lights can blink, it's working. if the signal INDICATOR light on your instrumentation panel is not working, change the bulb first la... dey...
but it does sound like a weak batt... get a new one, charge it up, ride high rev for a while. if it still dies... ooops.. other stuff... rectifier most likely. if your bike is sparking normally, it's a sign that the alternator is working. most likely your rectifier that's screwed and not providing the right charging current to your batt...
correct me if i'm wrong...
loose bulb? eh while you get to it, might well pop in a new one yeah? blink blink type of lights easy to wear out..Originally posted by WhitePhantom:battery i jus changed, so no problem with that
rectifier should be no problem cos all lights go brighter when revved
signal relay no problem cos all 4 blinkers working fine
only the fucked up indicator that is goin crazy, sumtimes can sumtimes cannot sumtimes struggling to blink
tink i go adjust the wires see how....
i tink the bulb oso no problem leh.. cos when it blinks, it really lights up brightly!!!Originally posted by l3stat:loose bulb? eh while you get to it, might well pop in a new one yeah? blink blink type of lights easy to wear out..
