Phantom 150 vs Phantom 200

Wads the diff between the 2 phantoms?
regarding pick-up, top speed, fuel economy, comfort, and everything else... all the pros and cons~
which is better? and which is more recommended?
ps. i am deciding between the 2 bikes... headache man... -
all i noe is.. 200 no need 2t.. and every 300 mil or k (haha, blur blur) then need to top up fuel.. but if u check out other topics.. got ppl mention.. like new bikes.. power cutoff. pick up slower.. not sure.. anyway.. i haven't gotten to try.. but heard 200 the most hit.. 120 top speed...

2.fuel should be almost the same not much diff...depend on ur ridin style..
3.comfort wise 200 should provide better comfort...more smooth in engine rev

from what I feel hor, 150 less noisy leh, 200 more noisy lor. petrol wise, i use shell 98, can last about 280km (full tank). one thing very bad about 200 is that it vibrates alot, not that comfortable also for long distance. buttocks and hands will numb, that is when I ride for 30mins straight lor. pick up for 200 also not bad.Originally posted by tHoMiE:the main difference between the 150 phantom and the 200 phantom is one is a 2 stroker and one is a 4 stroker.

i will start praying when i reach 110 i very kia si one heehee. phantom 200 is really the bike for me man hahahaha -
I am very satisfied with my Phantom 200.
Very fuel effiecient bike, better than my previous GN125. I could get about 350km per full tank. Pick up wise is not as good as Phantom 150 because this is a 4 stroke bike, but it has good torque and less gear changes are necessary.
Maximum speed I ever achieved was 130km/h but the meter has error reading of about 10%. I verified this by installing a Cateye bicycle speedometer. Cateye reading + 10% = Phantom reading.
Long distance comfort is also a lot better than all sports bike because I rode this babe to KL and back on National Day without any back ache.
I strongly recommend this bike for cheap and reliable transport. But for more safety, please change the IRC tyres to better grip rubber because it's terrible in the wet and during emergency braking.

i saw before the piston, conrod and block of a certain phantom200 that went to KL and back as well.
it's not nice. -
Me riding 200. Very fuel economy as I can travel from Woodlands MRT all the way to Paya Lebar Airport for work in 5 days with oni $6.50 to $7.00 petrol top-up.
As for the vibration and noise problems, I've managed to reduce it after pulling in some additive (recommended "Motor up" as i used for my car and motorbike since many years back. Give it a try to feel the diff)
Ever heard from my carpark friends that they got friends with 200 could travelled up to 140km/h in Malaysia. Even Super4 riders oso said the bike is very good!! -

actually i quite like the sound lehz.. sound better than many 2B bikes.. but the vibration abit of a nuisance when travelling long disrtance.. really helps in blood circulation.. leg no blood at all!!

yeh manz..phantom rulez hehe machiam i sometimes like today stop at red light also got fello rider.. asked me about the phantom and stuffs.. its really cheap and economical.. anyway vibration.. not too bad.. lahz.. i ride.. thirty to forty minutes.. okay lahz..

Are there any riders who owned a 150 b4 and upgraded to a 200?
care to give your comments? considering pricing and everything, which do you recommend? -
2t is must added.. to 4t( engine oil ) i think to lubricate the engine or something.. so.. the 200 phantom no need 2t just use 4t.. thus i find more convenient lohz.. maintainence wise..

i ride phantom150 for so long liao, doesnt vibrate when cruising leh.... i tink the 200 engine sounds like a drill, thats y feel vibrating especially at long rides.
PS: i would surely recommend phantom150 cos its faster n much more cheaper than 200. y spend extra $2000 on sumthing that is only newer than its 150 counterpart by at least 2 yrs? wats more, u might be riding for 1 yr plus only, i tink sure wil got difficulty sellling 200 away for 2nd hand at a high price......

i recommend 2 stroke for 2b bike becos they r slow, 2 stroke makes u faster abit.... once reach 2a n 2, 90% all 4 stroke bikes liao -

i got another question... how much would 2nd or 3rd party insurance cost for phantom 150/200? considering i am 21 this year, fresh rider... would u buy 1st, 2nd or 3rd party insurance for TA150? -
