last time the milo kong , the big pipe, got a CAT inside, plus 3 restrictor plates that block up the air output into a slower process, causing ur pipe to get heat up bery badly, plus its darn heavy

but then for the smaller pipe,no matter wad is inside, should be easier to mod than the milo
and the effects will be much better i mean,
consider a thru milo kong, and a thru small pipe
u take a big straw like bubble tea one and u take those small straw from coffeshop, u try blow air thru them, notice the difference,think u will get wad i mean -

ah tee, not very sure how the milo is shaped on the interior, assuming that the milo can's interior is shaped like what we see on the outside (meaning parallel sides), the biggest advantage of the newer pipe lies in the use of a properly shaped expansion chamber. much research has been done on expansion chambers for 2 stroke engines, resulting in the diffuser-into-"steeper"-venturi design. back pressure buffering is increased and more predictable, which will allow better charging of the air/fuel mix prior to sparking...Originally posted by ah_tee:for wad i think

it's important in the sense that specific performance exhausts for 2 stroke engines are specific to the engine type, where details like compression ratio, bore and stroke, crank angle to port opening/closing (i forgot the proper term for this) etc are important...

an aprilia with a proper expansion chamber will have a better power output than one with a modded milo la.. that's why there were mods that involves stuffing a diffuser into the milo "casing"... finally ah... approved liao! my impression of the local authorities has gone up! one small bit la... -
Hi, i have just received a call from Huntor from Delphiforum's Aprilia Owners Club.
He had just came back from Mah motors and there is no such news at all according to him. He will get it check out in the meanwhile but pls, dun be stupid as to go change ur arrows onto ur bike as most likely, the arrows will be all pointing towards ur wallet, the $1K fine.

Friend, who says aprilia can use arrow. Pls. ask proper question. Its aprilia using a smaller silencer pipe. Nobody says any arrow pipe can be used in this forum, once again its a smaller pipe. Don't misunderstand. Not Arrow. hmm, for this i m not sure, coz i used the original milo for onli abt a mth, then went to mod it, i think the modified version will have a smaller pipe inside, its not exactly a second muffler inside, but rather something like an silencer to guide the air out, but then i could be wrong too -

We cant doubt anyone now as its just your words versus Huntor's. But from ur first posting, its kinda misleading. I think its either you provide true hard fact, (for instant any number which public can call? or any emails?) or do not confirm this news at all. U are free to inform this hearsay to others but unless u have real facts to back ur words, else leave it to the authorities.
You never know who will be reading this and some other sporeans who happened to be abroad might go ahead to purchase the exhaust system and came back sg to realise it's just a hoax. It's a waste of money and it will poorly reflect on the reliability of forums' infos. What's the point of being in a forum if in the end, all news are just fake news?
