take out air filter gd anot?

today i took out the air filter sponge, seems that can rev higher n thus faster pickup. but take out got bad pts i know, wil make the carb dirty faster.. but anyone here like to take out air filter anot? if not gd, i gonna put it back liao

best put it back coz i heard if u take out, if any grain of sand go in, ur piston gone liao. 
like that ur bike louder n faster rite? i did tat to my nsr125 n motor diam ask me put bk, say no good unless i wan to let him chop.
