i have tired Davidoff No. 2 before, its quite light in the sense of i can suck quite lot without feeling the kind of heavy feeling. But quite alot of smoke, nice one. -

Yes, Davidoff is originally a cigar brand before anything else.
Zino Davidoff is the creator of fine cigars then the company expanded into cigarettes , perfumes and lifestyle products.....
Not very strong but very fine in taste and unique too, becos it's actually cuban leaves blended and cultivated on Dopminican Republic soil.
I have not favorite cigar but Davidoff ranks among the top.
I also like La Gloria Cubana and Romeo y Julieta. -

No I dont do villager.
villager is originally swiss brand which produces machine made cigars. quality is not bad I heard. I lived in Switzerland for a brief period.
by the way , anything with a filter is officially not considered a "CIGAR"
I recommend Don Diego coronas to you. light and woody. very nice . Dominican Republic hand made. not so expensive too.

so every time i go overseas i buy alot one lo.. machiam store up ...
anyway villager got filter is better le, cause when i smoke those with no filter, my mouth and teeth always kanan the ashes one...
then with filter is more clean lo, only tat my teeth will still turn yellow.. hehhe -

Just did a Cohiba Siglo II over the weekend. tasty as always.
If you are keen , I got supplier who can offer good rates.
Otherwise just go to any cigar shop. e.g. Davidoff at hotels or Oak Cigars, Millenia Walk, Tanglin or, Habanos at Newsroom, Suntec...etc......
A cohiba siglo II is probably about $30
The Don Diego I recommend can be bot from Oaks Cigars.

Well, those that Throttle has recommended are quite light, very suitable if you are not into this sort of a thing on a regular basis, anyway although I like cigars, but I think it may not be the best idea for you to be smoking one where there is a large crowd as not many other people may welcome the pungent smell of a cigar, may drive people away...
There are a few nightspots that have seperate cigar rooms, one such place is Brewwerkz ... or alternatively try a hotel lounge, such as the Hyatt Hotel Scotts Lounge, where they have the cigars mentioned earlier

Yes, What I recommended are relatively light to medium body. good for starters.
There is no "real" cigar bar in Singapore as all are sub-standard.

Cigars are to be smoked in places with no wind preferably.
Otherwise the burn will be uneven and the taste will not be consistent.
Do remember that. It is an important lesson in true aficionado cigar smoking.

what you have to learn is how to cut it properly and how to light it the aficionado way. many people dont know how to do it.
But very difficult to teach you using words. need to show you"live"
you probably have to light many cigars before you can do it right.

hey... i light the cigar by turing the cigar.. i mean i rotate lo..
then slowly light up then i tarik in lo... -
Rule 1: the fire should never touch the cigar as you light it, light it by using heat.
Rule 2: Dont use a liquid gas lighter like Zippo.
use a butane gas lighter like Dupont, Davidoff, Dunhill etc...
Rule 3 : dont use a jet burner unless you are a beginner and dont want to learn the skills.
