KAwasaki ZZR11 ZX11 Riders?

Hi, new here.
riding ZZR11 D1. Vance and Hines Power Pack. Ohlins shocks.
K&N filter, Iridium plugs, DynoJet Kit stage One and Cyclone rim.
Otherwise bike is stock condition.
Been riding for 10 years now.
Only ride for leisure maybe once a week.
Looking for similar riders to go up North once in a while.
Easy riding 120 - 160 km/hr with the occasional 200++km/hr sprints.
Stay alive, ride safe.

i think it's the one that looks like an st11.
my fren used to have one, though i'm not sure if they're the same, coz i not very sure about the kawasaki codes. ZZR/ZXR etc. -

Very good bike for doin long dist...D3 shld be FK or FL plate purple/orange colors. ZX-11 or ZZR-1100 is the same bike. only different names.
Weight of the bike a real prob...after market sys help a lot in squeezing more hp as well as great reduction in weight.
2-up riding on long haul trip is comfy for pillion...as well as the rider. you dun really have to look under the screen.
See u got some mods there. not bad...more perf parts can be order fr the tuners in US - MUZZYS (contact Sporting Motorcycles). a set of better brake pads (EBC) will be better for more stopping power if not thn mayb some floating disc with better callipers set-up.
Last but not least, those "O" rings on the cam cover where your plugs seats always leak....and take good care by changing your oil regularly as the 3RD Con-rod bearing is at stake!

just kidding buddy.
it is a sports tourer. kinda heavy and big and long. good for touring and fast enough for most things.
Makes for cornering not too easy but it's all a matter of getting use to your bike.
Anyone for a ride up North? -
Maxlean , actually D3 would be 96 model and probably FN plate
D1 which I ride is FL plate.

Sorry its typo error....D1 is gold/purple, D2 black, D3 dark purple, D4 dark green and there a burgundy red and silver after that.

i LOVE big touring bikes, cos they r spacey n etc
would love to ride an ST1100 when got class 2.. now stil at 2b nia... hehe
besides ST1100 n ur kawa, stil got wat other similar class tourer bikes? btw, i oso interest in streetfighters like hornet900, fazer, etc
n oso african twins, varaderos etc...
so wat pros n cons of a big tourer bike? -

Pure sports are fun to ride alone but sport tourers are nice to ride with pillion.
As I also own a car, I dont usually pillion anyone. I prefer to ride singly with my ZZR1100.
Sports tourers are generally larger and longer and heavier so they have better stability and comfort over a longer distance.
I like all kinds of bikes , to me it's the character and priniciples of the rider and not the bike that stands out.

To answer your question White Phamtom:
big tourers - more expensive to maintain (road tax , petrol, parts etc) But the feeling of a big engine between your legs is second to none.
I also like rding muscle naked bikes. I rode the Triumph Speed Triple (mission impossible II bike) for a brief moment.
Fazer is also very rideable and looks fab. M900 is quite cool too.
I even thought of stripping down a GSXR11 to turn it into a streetfighter.
Now I'm just contented with my ZZR11. -

I choose my friends whether I ride an 11 or a 125cc.

To me this you sounded like a little girl playing hard to get?? or mayb i am sensitive? i duno....
I hv been to rides like the Charity Rides where hundreds of bikes from Msia and Spore took part....we made frens on the road. They didnt hv to arrange for a get-to-know session prior the ride and they didnt have to make sure all became frens before they can ride together......cos the ride itself will bloom frens!!
Just like i ask you for coffee session but thn i need to see how u r like 1st before we can meet up......

Not you neither me.
Those big charity rides are different. You join those to get to know people and not the other way round.
I'm talking about small personal rides (maybe 3 or 4 bikers)
I simply prefer to know that I can stick out my neck for someone who's a friend rather than someone who's not. Selfish perhaps but that's life.
Anyhow, bike buddies we may not be but forum buddies I dont think is too difficult.
