from my point of view...aprilia is not a problematic bike.....u just need a lot of attention to it...maintance it well......most of them get it wrong.....the bike is ok....only the spare parts is expensive.....
i own a y2k aprilia & its superb.....to me 1st hand machine is always the best rather than 2nd hand.....that is from my point of view....

Somehow agree wif u..perhaps with the $ u invest on the 1st hand bike everything are much different..superb like u say.. jus a pity there's no value when u sell...

i dunno bout u guys but my aprilia like girl sia... must pamper and love her... then she good to u... if not ar, she makes all kinds of problems sia... i jus kanna change my coil... haiz.. another 300 bucks... but generally i love the bike... and im sure she loves me too... jus to play safe, change engine oil... service carb n valve every 2 mths... spark plug change 3 mths can liao... for mi bike once a while must go whack... keke but cannot whack all the time ar...

i just got my aprilia too..aprilia is overall a good bike if you do servicing every few mths..mine until now never give me any problem...try to find one that is totally orginal lor...like mine...i took over the bike from my friend free but have to carry on the installments for around ten mths only...quite a good buy...some more his is FP plate....so consider carefully before you settle for one... i love aprilia too...
