some pple ride their bikes wif slippers and t shirts and no gloves... i totally disagree wif that... but these pple often give the excuse that singapore's weather is far too hot and humid... and they dont wanna sweat and such... yet this are the essential stuff that will save their butt when push comes to shove...
i have been riding bikes since 97, but only seriously riding and learning since 00... all i can say is if u dont learn to ride ur bike to its fullest... u will lookback and regret.. and say why didnt i try this, or why didnt i try that.. and thankfully now i can die in peace

I think no matter what, just be happy with the bike you choosed. If not happy, choose another one until you're happy or your finance is not able to push for another change.

Hi, new here.
riding ZZR11 D1. Vance and Hines Power Pack. Ohlins shocks.
K&N filter, Iridium plugs, DynoJet Kit stage One and Cyclone rim.
Otherwise bike is stock condition.
Been riding for 10 years now.
Only ride for leisure maybe once a week.
Looking for similar riders to go up North once in a while.
Easy riding 120 - 160 km/hr with the occasional 200++km/hr sprints.
Stay alive, ride safe.

Hi All, I've basically riden and owned many categories of bikes.
I feel that every kind of bike has its own character just as its owner.
What is most important is that, bikers respect one another.
I must say that occasionally I still get some young R1 riders trying pick a race with me by revving loudly or coming very close.
However, my approach to other bikers is to nod and acknowledge that we are all bike lovers and should not be doing these dangerous stunts.
Any racing should be done on the track.
By the way, any cigar smokers here? we can get together and do a big one for the weekend.

Well sometimes it just the FUN they are after...but most often then not we are intimidated by it. You can always wave them off in a frenly gesture.....but if u think u wana have some fun out of it, GO FOR IT!! For someone who cant ride, 1 hand on the bar while the other picks the nose is a dangerous stunt rite?
On the other hand,I dun think to wheelie the whole length of ORCHARD RD is something dangerous to AC FARIAS or to other road users. This u must nod and acknowledge haha
So bottom line is to stay cool and enjoy your ride...just that some ppl wana get more out of every ride...and we cant stop them!!

Weaving in and out of traffic is dangerous , Max.
Those riders can buang for all I care just dont want to get involve in their stupid acts
I just despise "little kittens" who act like tigers when everything's fine but not in the face of a real situation. This has nothing to do with age. -
Well everything out there is relative.....
U mentioned u do 120-160km riding in Msia and occasionally 200+km/h sprint........
This to some ppl, that 's outrageous....try asking passengers on the bus whn u pass them by......
And more often than not we are weaving in traffic.....so long we ride a bike, we will weave. Only some more some less and some faster thn the rest.
So bottom line is they are riders who wana get more out of the ride and it not acceptable to some individuals...
So let it be. Your are rite...we couldnt care less whn 1 day they should go down in flames.
So stay cool and enjoy each and every ride.... -
Riders who want to get more out of a ride , are understandable so long as they dont involve others in their "quest".
I know what you mean and you surely clearly know what I mean so please let's not argue for the sake of arguing.

REally Max, I fully agree with you.
But I think you've missed a point.
If a ship wants to go out to sea, by all means, as long as it doesnt collide into another because it got its bearings wrong in the first place.
My comments about dangerous riders are reserved to those who are inconsiderately dangerous. I'm sure there's no need to illustrate any further. We know these kind of riders. They're everywhere. Young and old.
