nsr 150 sp....reserve tank?? hi pple just wana ask how much petrol can the reserve tank store? n can travel for how many kilometres?

i think aga aga still can hold abt 1 to 2 litre lah...this is wat i think lah
but even time i low pet, use reserve liao still enough 2 go home leh...hehee -

i tried travelling frm CCK to WOODLANDS and back to CCK...
also tried frm bukit panjang travel until JB shell...
fyi i trottle until the engine suddenly stop den i turn the knob to reserve.. frm my house to my gf house and back is abt 20 click.. -
it about there cheeze .... about 20 KM ... but never test the limit ... if not u gonna stuck on a expressway

i wonder y they wanna make so much reserve capacity.
2++ L can last at least 40+KM, can go from one end to the other end of SG liao, there r petrol kiosks everywhere....
sumtimes i turn my tap to reserve all the way, cos i got calculate the mileage mahZ. I dun like the feeling of when riding half way bike no petrol must turn to reserve immed, that time i kena stall engine half way , luckily approaching red light, or else i gotta try kick start while the bike is moving liao... kekekee -
i think u are a rich man son ...
turning reserve on all the way will cause the bike to consume more petrol ... Think back this bike is made in thailand ... thus the 2 litres of reserve might not be enough for thais road condition ...
and also if you bike is moving ... u DO NOT need to kick start at all ... just follow the steps of a push start ... that will do the job ...

Dunno whether your manual is the same as mine, but I believe the section on page 23 explains about fuel tank and its settings. The value 2.7 is printed on that page, which I believe is the capacity of the reserve tank.
The figure is also shown on page 96, rite below the petrol tank capacity (10.5 litres). -
50 plus to 60 km is the most i ever tried.... At least can 50km....
My full tank can travel 215km plus reserve i when to 259.... got 1 time i go until 272.... but maybe different riding style will affect the figures.... -
