mi heard my from instructor in bbdc rahman saying tat soon government is going to implement new rules, like a extra lesson "sub 14" on highway and new "p" plates are not allowed to pillion,and can onli pillion when their "p" ends and after tat they have to take a pillion riding test then can pillion. and they are going to implement 21 yrs to enroll, during september. anyone else hear anything like these?

as for 21 yrs, last time i attent rtt lessons they sae mayybe jan 2002, but till now stil dun haf wor, but hopes they implement fast then my yr last batch lagi beest

Lookin at the stats of our young bikers perished on the roads, I would think there should be some truth in it, at least to a certain extent. Surely the govt is compelled to introduce stricter rules to curb the rate of fatal accidents.
Somehow smaller bikes with inexperience riders are prone to accidents......but that how it has to be. Its a learning process.
Start now with proper safety riding gear! The rest you have to learn along the way! -
If they really implement tat in a way its good lor...cos i saw alot of young bikers r very reckless n they they to race/speed on the rd!!!like tat it may save alot of innocent lifes n less accidents!!! as for the expressway lesson is gd actuali..cos last time when i 1st time took e expressway bery scared sia the rd conditon bery scary ,alot of cars here n there and tend to panic lor!!!so the lessons may b a good experience for the newbies...

hmm now think of it, last time imagine 16 years old can take licence liao.... imagine a kid... sec 2 wear shorts student riding full chrome RXZ or LC kia to school in my old days... hehehe so farnie...

if they really implement 21 yrs then car also 21 yrs , then imagine how the saf pple tat are under 21 how to take lisence? hehe dun know wat are they gonna do man,,,come to tink of it ,if really want to reduce the number of bikers accidents and deaths on roads , i tink the pillion thing is rather effective, pillion are most prone to serious injuries in an accident,haiz...

Dont think u need to worry for SAF. The licence that entitle u to ride or drive army vehicle is amy licence not civilian licence. Weather they want to give u a civilian licence is another thing wat. But hopefully they dont implement the pillion thing..... If not troublesome for me already. Wha got to wait 1 year, got to take test again... sian leh. -
to convert saf class 3 license to a civilian one, you gotta clock 7k km.
is this applicable to other classes as well? -

i hope they dun change the age limit so that 18 yr old can learn liao so that the stupid ahbengs will go and learn bike den they will ride the NSR150SP then they will anyhow chiong to show off to their ahlian gerfrens then they will crash into a lorry and get crushed to death and the bike will be smashed into bits then ultimately I WILL BENEFIT.
1) Best way to get rid of stupid ahbengs. U dun have to kill them, they kill themselves.
2) Best way to get rid of NSR150SP. U dun have to smash this bike if u hate it, its rider will do it for u.
3) Best way to find more single and available ahlians out there. Bf crush to death by lorry... so sad... come come i comfort you~. -

then INSURANCE premiums will jack up even higher... then our fellow biker friends will cannot afford and then have to resort in all kinda ways to get $$ pay the stupid insurance...

I think is the main reason is not because of the land lor. If there r advantages, just a piece of land wont be the problem.
But i think the govt is more concern about the danger. Some ppl might also ride like in the track when on the road. Then there might be different racing teams form and cause alot of problems. So the govt can't build track which will be like promoting racing in singapore like that. -
motor racing isn't very popular in SEAsian countries mainly because during the period they were getting very popular (50s-now), most the SEA countries were going through some kinda economic turmoil/trying to build up their economies (singapore, for eg.)
malaysia has it's sepang. thailand is going to either upgrade or build a new race track, indonesia is also planning a racetrack. it'll be our turn soon.
but then i think by the time it's our turn, we already close to 30 or 30 over, become ahpek racer liaoz -
