ET got respray tat one meh, the other time i saw is one log log old one leh n also the best bike i saw there is the pepsi cola RGVOriginally posted by feng125:RGV, RS, NSR and TZR all 250 2-strokes... so i guess the difference isn too big. of course everybody will have different views lah~
personally i prefer the RS250 lor... though it doesn mean pgm lousier in any way.
as for the 3ma, the looks a bit outdated leh... but i must say with a new paintjob it looks pretty good. check out the one at Eugene Tan... SWEEEET.
if you think the mc28 is 'comparable' to a 600 (let's not even mention the 150 ok?)Originally posted by KneeSlider:Hmmzzz i think this comparison is actually uncalled for...
just because both are of the same cc... doesnt mean that the pgm4 and the rs250 is in the same league...
a real world pgm4 is only comparible to a kr150 i believe.. except that its kinda more glam with the dry clutch..
and if the kr is well built (and it doesnt cost nearly as much to do so as modifying the pgm4) i believe the kr will be able to take on the pgm4 from stationary all the way to top!i dont ride a kr... but i have seen some and heard some and to tell u the truth i think that particular kr can take a cbr929 for 0-60kmh
anyway the pgm4 is really an old bike.. and old technology... totally for enthusiasts.. unless u can get hold of the honda rs version.. i think its still a wiser idea to get a four stroke 400cc to prepare for the bigger class 4 strokers...
pgm4 is really cool, rs250 is really fast, but after a year, u will think the pgm4 is starting to look old and bulky and the rs250 will feel slaggy and no power... then thats when u start looking for greener pastures like the 1000cc class or 600cc class...
a highly mod rs250 has 70bhp? and to get more out of it u gotta spend big money
the pgm4 has 50+ bhp? and to get more u gotta sell your house, make ur galfren work as a karaoke gal and maybe weekdays u urself work at desker road... if u get what i mean...
whereas why not just get a gsxr600 or r6 or f4i and u instantly get 90bhp stock!
and if u are hungry for more... go get the bigger stuff like gsxr1000 or r1 or 954 and u get 135bhp... 144bhp for the gixxer1000so the point is.. if the year was 1994 the pgm4 or the rs250 would kick ass... but its 2002 a good 8 years already, and the kr150 should be able to kick the asses of the 250s if u spend just a bit of money
for me i just slept thru my class 2a phase and waited for class2 then got my weapon of choice... saved lots of money in the process.. think about it!
pls pls,... try not gettin too deep into HP ... cos it will all sounds bery impressive on theory... but its most often otherwise when it comes to practical....Originally posted by nismoS132:if you think the mc28 is 'comparable' to a 600 (let's not even mention the 150 ok?)
i suggest you try riding one.
ps.
rs250 stock = 70hp; mod = ?
nsr250 stock = 40hp; mod = 79hp and more.![]()
about the KR able to keep up with the pgm4 for start to top, personal i dun thing so . if you are saying that the Kr is mod and the pgm4 is stock maybe there is a chance. if both the bike is mod ,Kr would be able to keep up with pgm4 for start to top liaoOriginally posted by KneeSlider:Hmmzzz i think this comparison is actually uncalled for...
