New SP Sproket and Chain

  Hi!
  
  Newbie to this forum...
  Any info on how much does it cost 4 a new Sprocket and chain? (full set)
  
  Wad brand is good? ie. for sprocket and chain?
  Which motor thiam to service is good.
  coz my SP the chain tension is loose and if tentioned tighter, there'll be sqeeking sounds.......
  
  pls enlighten me. Thanx!

  go for D.I.D O-ring n always original sprockets
  costs about 150-170

  My chain just change but it keeps getting loose even after i tighten it 1 week later loose again liao...Wat's happening? can someone enlighten me? thx....

  If you wanna change your chain, i would recommend you to go to william's at sin ming.
  It's at Sin Ming AutoCare Center level 1, beside the evershine or what shine (kawasaki distributor), shop name is Eugene Tan.
  Ask for either william or alvin, tell them that Ken recommended you
  very reasonable prices

  mine too leh... the 1st day was so quiet, but about 1 week later, the rattling sound of my chain start to come back... damn... but my fren said phantom always got chain noise pollution becos of the long wheel base.
  anyway, no chain is perfect in the world, even if u change the best one, it wil stil loosen one day.

  i changed my sp sproket and chain not too long ago. Very silence when first change but once I spray chain wax, the noise came back again. Anyway I change DID extreme gold chain and original front and rear sprocket. Was told it will last me for 2 years. Better than the original one lasted me about a year only. This is of better quality, hence quoted $250. But I bargain till $220. Hehe...

  i oso jus change recently ..
  i havent even notice the chain loose liao ... beside giv me weird loud sound..
  after changing ..
  the shop recommand me $170 for chain and sproket,
  after changing, i notice the chain and sproket was smaller,
  i now fear that it will break up one day, but i notice smaller chain and spocket will result in low rpm,
  my sp in stock condidtion, was rpm 7 at 120km/h
  but now the rpm was 6.8 at 120km/h,
  does that means my bike can go 4 higher top?
  btw wat type of chain lub is good ?
  no $$$ to chain liao .. must matin the chain and sproket well this time ..

  i change spocket sized 42 n D.I.D 'o' ring chain at onli $115/= at tampines industrial(behind safra) i think shop name is power wheel.

  go LAB change honda o-ring la...abt 100-125 only...

  hmm...
  my chain must be damn good, i use until now only tightened twice, the chain use more than 6 months liaoz, somemore i always pillion people, always loot, etc etc all those xiong chain activities ....
  
  somemore it's only an O-ring, not gold or anything. good stuff sia
