wat price to ride, safe n yet feel free ... ?

hi,
i m a new biker who juz pased 2b. congrates to meself
/ i just want to ask u friendly folks here what's a good price for a 2nd hand bike ?
i had sniffed ard some motorbike shops and found the followin prices;
-- 2 yr old phantom 150 ; 3.8k
-- 4 yr old nsr sp; 3.2k--3.5k
-- 5 yr old tzr ; 1.9k
-- 2 yr old aprilla -- bout 3.2k
i know there r b quite a lof more consideration like insurance, spare parts prices (exprcialy aprilia) other than this gross price, but any of u folks who mux hav better experience, kindly giv me ur 2 cents ) .
I am looking more at the sp, cos is there, in terms of looks but the phantom seems to be more stable, safe ?
also, any 6 feet 1" sp//aprilia riders .... can let me know will back-pain, leg pain boh,..... from the constant hunching n curling of the legs onto the cute small, machines ? )

if its me, i will go for the aprilia, nothing beats riding an italian machine,hehheheeh
anyway, its up to the individual,
i m not sure about the foot n the feet measurements,
but i m abt 175cm, initial rides on the aprilia, is bery bery demanding for ur back, but once ur used to it , then all will be well, coz aprilia riding position is much much more agreesive than other bikes -
phantom and tzr are difficult to sell.... aprilla is expensive to maintain while nsr is too common. In any case, you will look odd with riding these 'small' bikes(with reference to your hugh body frame). Maybe you wanna look into scooters. You will still look odd riding one but be it with some attitiude(half-egg helmet with shades or googles....so cool....). The idea is to ride the storm for 1 yr, then upgrade to 2A bikes. I'm standing at 173cm and feel veri, veri small riding the super4.....maybe ur 185cm frame fits just nicely.....good luck thoughOriginally posted by adrealin7:hi,

buy RXZ......cheap,fast,easy maintain,can make until stylo also,,,,,
sport bike i also recommand SP or KRR,,,,,,but for yr height,,,,,kind of weird,,,,, like a bull siting on a crow.....
but scramble will be nice for u,,,but hard to maintain it,,,,, phantom is nice,,,relax and comfortable

i been riding sp for a yr, very gd bike very low mantainance......
nothin will spoil easily.........
tried krr felt tat almost the same as sp but lighter so more dangerous??????
and phantom..... nice bike damn damn relax when traveling for long distances....... but its definately not the bike for mi!

if u are going for 2 stroker , take yamaha bikes . for a pure transport basis take those 4 stroke bike lor, save petrol like dunno anything.

u see....since u juz pass ur class 2b, u shld ride on the road with cheap, easy maintain bike. so if u ever fall, ur heart wun be pain pain. when u got use to riding bike on s'pore road, den u can get a better bike. by the time, u oready got use to riding liao den wun fall easily mah.
