  yes.
  
  bcos if you dun intend to futher studies, there's nothing much you can do when you come out society. unless your lao peh rich or u marry rich. futhermore you in commando, that's means u got high vocation pay and earn more money than most regular.
  
  if you damm gud lat....i recommend you join SOF. big bucks.
