Original Honda Phantom Disc Brake Pad $30 is considered expensive or still can?
Insurance rising again. I extend expiry date for 47 days at $106.09 from mitsui 1st party. so expsensive for one month plus.
Washed my carb for $10.
Raod Tax $23.
Free Service : Changed my front foot peg for free. (Foot peg is i buy myself from LAB). Adjusted position of fuel tank cause b4 is crooked. realigned my handlebar. Tuned my petrol intake.
Total cost : $170
Worth it or conned? -

hi, for phantom 150, roughly how many KM then use reserve? i tried mine roughly 200KM only... did anyone ever use until reserve oso "ta"?

I had this problem:
When I pump petrol, I pump till can see petrol liao(almost full)
abt $10 (7++litres)
And travel only 150km must go reserves liao!
How to pump full tank(scare overflows)
Normally full tank how many litres and can travel how long b4 reserves??

main tank is 9L
reserve 2.2L
whenever u pump should be 9L n above...
its becos when u feel that ur main tank finish liao, it would have consumed 9L, dats y i always endure until 250km then go petrol kiosks.... for me is 25km/L, 9L= 225km, so i normally pump 10L...
for ur case, if u claim u r pumping 7+++ L until the brim, u shouldnt have got only 150km b4 hitting reserve -

i fill tank until i see the petrol level inside the tank is midway when viewing the inlet directly from the top. i oso scared overflow. i oso remember one time i hit reserve immediately top-up to this level cost me $9 of v-power. izzit i never fill to full?
one last question: does the bike consume petrol at a constant rate? i noticed a few times i top up after 120km cost me $5 but at 150km cost me $7. it doesnt tally and i wonderin if the bike consumes more petrol at lower fuel levels. -

u can go check again, whenever it hit reserves, the amount that u should pump must be above 8.5L - 9L...
as for fuel consumption,
longer trips uses less fuel
if u play pickup, also will consume more

my range is also from 22-27 km/L depending on the way i ride
8.5L? yes u have done it..... jus pump it to the brim!
remember, u got have 2.2 L of reserve, stil can tahan at least 40km
so plan ur trips well...

from closed to 1/4 throttle, it lags abit and the engine sounds not smoothly, i dunno how to describe, it jus feels that air is more than fuel
at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle (when i ride that time), i feel loss of acceleration, can only feel the acceleration when i change gear and rev from 1/4 to 1/2.... its feels like the mixture is rich, cos the engine sounds louder but no power...
correct me if i m wrong.. its jus my deduction -

Mobil Syn 8000 - 230km
Mobil Syn 5000 - 150km! ( Yep, I'm quite suprise too when I ran out of fuel.)
Shell V-power - about 180km ( can't really remember liao but certainly less than Syn 8000.
All b4 hitting reserve. -
