Do u guys know y Final Fantasy is call "Final" in front?
Well,hear from my fren is becos square during tat time was going bankrupt soon,so they decide to invest all their money into a RPG.And decide if it fails.it will be d last.So its call Final Fantasy lor.

Yes, very true evererin. Square wanted to create an RPG similar to Enix's successful Dragon Quest series back in the days. It was a last ditch move and they decided to call their first / last game "Final Fantasy". In the end, it turned out to be one of the most successful games ever created.

yeap it is true that square named FF as final fantasy because it is the very last game they will produce if circumstances around them do not improve. But it turned out to be a fat cash cow for them.........
