Help Solve window error

  Wat to do if I receive the following error in my window
  
  " Unable to find winsvr"

  This simply means that the system is missing a system file it requires to function properly.
  
  Suggest calling in the IT personnel to take a look at it. Not to solve the problem on your own, else you may make even more damage. Good luck.

  So it's not a problem tat simply juz go to another PC to d/l tat file & prob will solve.

  from the look of things that's not really advisable. The name of the file suggest that it's related to the Windows server and that's something your IT personnel is required to look after.

  winsvr or winsrv?
  
  cos I encountered this issue before for winsrv... error msg like "The dynamic link library winsrv could not be found in the specified path Default Load Path"...
  
  solved by reapplying the service pack...

  winsvr. no idea what happen. But the result of it is tat application like shortcut/ system properties all cannot enter. Surprise is if I go into my computer -> my document -> my file.doc , i can go into ms word, but if I click on start -> microsoft word, i cannot enter
  
  & 1 thing i dun have any window CD, less able to d/l from net...

  its winsrv.dll, an application extension which should be present within the system32 folder of your windows folder. Likely causes for it to go missing could most probably be due to a virus renaming the extension to irritate you. That dynamic extension is special within each system, so it may be futile to just replace it.

  jin gy leh, ah boh an ni lah, just pop the windows cd and re-install, like dat ur files won't go missing. prior to dat, do a virus scan, an updated one.

  I also noe pop cd can do. the thing is tat my company dun have window 98 cd. If it is not company PC, the thing I always do is the FORMAT hard disk. Solve the problem once & for all.
