As for the HDD, u can always add another one in addition to ur current one, then u'll have 2 HDDs. then u dun haf to copy ur data over liao lor. if u r using a very old PC (like u said), then most probably u need to get a card in order to fully utilise the capabilities of ur new HDD.
as for ur ram, u need to see if u still got available slots on ur motherboard. but from wat u say, i guess ur pc should be using PC100/PC133 ram, as these rams are being phased out, & their production has gone down, they are becoming quite expensive.
so, my advice, u post ur PC configuration, then ask the experts in forum to advise u... -
