Lame excuses of being late

I am not trying to promote ppl to lie but some of these excuses r so creative tat I can't help posting
1) The public transport broke down
2) My alarm clock din ring
3) Help an elder woman cross the road
4) Wait for parent to wake up to get pocket money. Reason: no $$ left to eat
5) My father/mother want to drive mi to school but they overslept
6) Traffic jam
7) My mother want mi to take care of my younger brother/sister before she come back from market

i alwys tell my friend MRT traffic jam...
haha..coz no matter wad excuse u give..already late..so just trying to 'create' some dry humour...
sometimes late liao..the best thing is just to say sorry...offer to pay for drinks or something...better than to find excuses to cover it up -
sometimes u got frens perpetual late comer one leh...you know i got one fren always late, almost 100% mtg he sure late...so got one time we plan to go out supposed to meet 11am at mrt station, we know he sure late so tell him 945am...1hrs 15 minutes for him to be late...then we confident this time either he wait for us or he sure on time liao....but...you know what time he reached???? 1130am!!!!! WAH LAU EH!!!! cannot tahan him....

i think they got this instinct that u all purposely 1...
coz normally u all got this 'usual' time that u all will meet..like 3pm or 2pm..den suddenly change to earlier time..they will suspect 1...
