It's always expensive when it's new.
I'll stick to Company of Heroes, Dark Crusade, Battlefield 2142 and Neverwinter Nights 2 for the PC for now. -

hmmm i tink a mod PS3 sounds illogical to me.... PS3 reads blu ray disc and not DVD-HD, so pirates must purchase a blu ray writer and blu ray disc..even if its cheap if definately much more expensive then current pirated games=$15 ps3 pirates might cost up till 30 or more... blu ray not cheap leh.... but i dun tink modding is safe lah.... PS2 cost 200 ++ ... after mod sure got some probs... at most u lose 200 but PS3 1K +++++++++ and if u mod and something goes wrong... warrenty void and stuff... lol u lose ard 4-5 PS2... so bo hua!! i dun tink i will want to risk losing 1K+++

just look at dvd. i remember once they said dvd cant be pirated.
oh anyway, i already saw from those pamphlets got blue ray writer selling in simlim liao. -
I think in usa here, they going to launch ps3 for around 500 - 600USD. Should be more cheaper than in singapore.
