  Because there are not enough B5TL/B8L/B9TL orders to run through la. I think this is a wake up call for the SBS Seletar tender.

  Should be confirmed...given that some DM3500s got 1 year extensions as well. But it's troubling that the first round of Habits getting extensions had been laid up - some are on service while some are not spotted at all.

  In the first place they should extend those Volgren O405 & 80 O405G for SMRT & 20 Volvo MKIV DM3500 & 20 Volvo Olympian B3 for SBST else wouldnt be so mess up.

  Anyway i dont think those extension would be last long as LTA would conduct trial for the Euro 6 A95(SG2017) & Volvo B8L.Once proved succesfull,LTA will order to replace those old buses.Im not suprised if they decided to purchase the Euro 6 A22 also.

  Is SG2017C included in the 122 A95 order?

  I dont think so as it is Euro 6 compliance.More like trial for Euro 6 engine.

  Heard Euro 6 Cummins also will be trial and so does the Volvo B8L.
